Ameristar Casino Hotel Council Bluffs

It was a bed. We stayed there because we thought restaurants on site would be easier after a long day. The sports bar was the only thing open and the food was a 3. The room the night stand light didn't work and the cable was shotty.

Rooms hard to access for someone who doesn’t walk well. Overall though, great for overnight stay.

The room was good size Well got a deluxe room should of been 1 queen bed there was 2 beds and only needed 1 and when asked they said your paying for the view and that wasnt the best will not go back there

This hotel was with a casino so guests were sometime noisy and coming in late, The room was clean there was no free breakfast, The staff was very helpful. Beds were comfortable. We would stay there again.

Room were clean staff was helpful. Did charge 20 bucks to check in early but for the most part everything was fine Pool was nice although it shared by three hotels.

Hotel was fine, had a very good casual dinner at the pub in the hotel. Would be nice if they gave you a voucher for some gambling as part of the room cost. Overall a very good stay, hotel was quiet at night.

There was a planned power outage during my stay. I was not aware and was nervous about security. It was uneventful and almost undetectable but I felt management should have been more empathetic.The water is overly treated and made it difficult to rinse off soap. It is not good. The water was also dangerously hot from the tap.The property was underwhelming and not impressive. The restaurant prepares a great breakfast. The casino and staff are worth the visit.

There was no place on the entire property where my kids could eat! Crazy....Also, our room smelled like sewer gas, and the shower had no pressure. Casino and property were nice, butbI would not bring my family here again.

Hotel is in serious need of an upgrade. The rooms are very dated. I was charged an additional $20 for early check in, which was 2 hours. This is crazy! Most hotels let you go ahead and check in, if they have a room available. I won't be staying here again.

Housekeeping staff was really friendly and nice when we asked for more towels and toilet paper. There was no offer to help with luggage and the doors were so heavy we really struggled. I also injured my back opening the room door. There were very few places to eat and the 2 places we were “allowed” in had very limited hours. One place required you to be a “member” and the hostess was very rude when she let us know that. And don’t get a mixed drink because the shots of alcohol used were half of what most shots are and twice as much. Also, they charge an enormous “resort” fee which made the total for our room extremely high. There was also man outside the doors begging for money. He looked dirty and dangerous. Meanwhile, there were four security guards “guarding” the entrance of the tiny casino door who almost tackled me for trying to take a drink that I just bought at their bar into the casino. This place was the worst.

Um no, I’m not dressed and there’s a coffee maker in my room.
