From the manager to cleaning crew, all were very accommodating and, I observed, ready to help with any issues that arose or give you directions to places of interest. While trying to keep my step count up, I walked the halls and sidewalks. All areas were well maintained. Breakfast was great. There was a wide assortment of foods to eat, trying to appeal to all guest wants. Coffee, tea and water are available 24 hours. The only issue I had, and this was upon our leaving, a non-hotel service company was doing maintenance, possibly spraying shrubs and planters. She received a phone call and left the sprayer in the middle of sidewalk, area for handicap parking access, while she went under the hotel’s awning.

I was unhappy about the change from Slidell to Cuero. An extra hour ride in wrong direction of our trip. The more expensive costs of the stay. The hotel was great.

Overall the hotel is fine and the front desk staff is really good. I was disappointed that the treadmill and the water machine in the fitness center didn't work, but the local park was beautiful :)
