Curtain fell down when my wife tried to open it blinds were all busted and waited over a day before we asked to either just swap rooms or them to fix it, the pool will be closed if it’s 100° outside with one cloud in the sky because it might rain , washer and dryer do not work , four hours after we had left because we didn’t turn in the key they assumed we wanted to stay another week and charged my card $600 without my consent or even calling me I can not recommend staying here as the owner is very rude and said one person doesn’t matter he has companies that stay there not to mention there breakfast contains a muffin and stale Cheerios

They had to move us 3 times. The third room was decent n had proper lighting. It was clean n bed was comfortable. Well, the church has been staying here for years. It seems to be getting run down a bit. Some said they will not be coming back.

Desk clerk smacking gum so hard last night it was disturbing. Otherwise cleanish, quiet, and comfortable. Room smelled odd though.

The girl at the front desk and that is all. We did not stay becuase it was so disgusting. It was unclean, had a scorpion on the ceiling, hair and debris in every corner. Tiles had fallen off. Holes were in the wall, the entry door was dented up and it was absolutely a horrific room; dark and filthy. We DID NOT STAY. We could not get our money back because the hotel forces you to use booking.com and it was non-refundable. We paid for another room at the hotel across the street. The front desk girl was nice but the owner of this place should be forced to stay in the room! Something tells me that would be fine with it. GROSS! and booking.com is awful, too!

The property looked great from the outside of what we saw. We were staying at this property so that we could utilize the pool and unfortunately when we found out that the pool was not in commission we canceled our stay.

The room itself needed a refresh. Chipped paint walls that could use a wipe down. All of that could have been okay on its own. Again my standard wasn’t high. However, what prompted this review is the exposed tact strip for the carpet which I stepped on barefooted. The carpet is worn and missing leaving an exposed tack strip in room 111. There’s no transition buffer from the carpet to tile. I won’t be return obviously. The check in process was probably the least remarkable. It went smoothly and efficiently but I obviously was an intruder on that’s clerks night.

Bed was comfortable but too high to get into. Needed more than 2 pillows. Breakfast was horrible with dry chocolate muffin and no other muffin choices. Coffee was stale dated and bad. Creamer looked as if gone bad or frozen clumps. Room needed repairs completed and floors were sticky and needed cleaning.

Never been so disappointed! On the surface it looks like great place a lot effort went into decorating the rooms and making it look nice exterior of the build was very well maintained however the rooms never get cleaned correctly the door was filthy stains on the walls every piece of linen and towels had stains strong mold and mildew smell evedence of bed bugs found cockroaches and tics in the room! I booked through a 3rd party messaged the front desk for a refund received no response. To the linemen staying here, fellas!? WTH yall make enough money to stay somewhere cleaner it isn’t worth your health to be cheap! Yes the room price was low and the hotel has great potential if you could get people who care enough to do there job correctly it would be an awesome place however the room I was in needs the ac unit treated for mold every pice of furniture taken out and deep cleaned there were insect eggs on the baseboards roaches tics and spiders rust stains blood stains you name it! The lady I spoke to was super nice I just wish management cared enough about the customer to clean the rooms properly! Just to be clear I left after finding the insect infestation and slept in my truck on the job site!!!

We have stayed here before. We love the area of Cuero. Have relatives near by in Yoakum. We like all the extra eateries in Cuero. Good food and friendly folks.
