The owners, Don and Brenda are extremely kind, helpful, and want you to have the greatest stay possible! The rooms are extremely cozy and clean! We will definitely be going back!!

Really cool old character hotel. Booked it for 3 nights for the Sturgis motorcycle rally. Owner (super nice dude) told me it was built in 3 stages, the latest addition built in 1951. So the place is 75 years old, at minimum, & maintained like it was built last week. Awesome room, thee most comfortable bed. 11 stars out of ten. I’ll be back! Nothing.

Our room was perfect for 2 people. Call ahead if you need a larger space for the family. Great stop if you plan to visit Custer State Park, Crazy Horse Memorial or Mt. Rushmore.

He Rocket Motel was retro cool. The staff were pleaant, friendly, and helpful.

Very clean, owner gave me cash to have my truck washed because repair work in the parking lot got it dusty. Cute, vintage look with red doors a red desk phone and red analog clock, hanging flower baskets by each door, puffy mints on the pillows, discounts for several nearby restaurants, walking distance to the Catholic Church, shops and restaurants, close to attractions. Every thing was great. Wish I could have stayed longer. No problems with this motel.

Very clean. Great location. Able to walk downtown in a couple minutes. Extra twin bed was a surprise. Small fridge and microwave in room. Soaps in shower were actually filled! Bathroom small with NO exhaust fan. After shower, had to open door due to steam. Small room. Couldn't walk around bottom of bed without hitting bottom legs of bed! Ok for one person, but too compact for 2 or more. Was explained at check -in that there would be no maid service unless requested the night before but if we needed anything (extra towels) they would accommodate. No pool. Thought 139 plus tax per night price was steep for what you got. I can see paying alot when you have options like a pool or work out room and such. Charming little motel but too costly.

It is a very quaint old style motel. The owners are extremely nice and friendly. The value is very good. It was very clean. I enjoyed my stay more than I thought because of how nice they were and how clean. Good location to walk to town for food and drinks. AC a bit loud, and no ability to open windows. No bath fan. Also room slightly dark.

Left item there but they claim they did not find, bell is hard to miss on bed
