Studio 6 Cypress, CA

It wasn’t my type of place to stay.

First time in Cali and needed a place to stay for 6 days. I compared this location to a few others nearby in the area. This location worked bc of the kitchenette & we wanted home-cooked meals. 1-Upon arrival, the young gentleman (Purve- I believe) was absolutely amazing! I called a few days prior to inquiry about the wifi, due to reviews, and he said the issue has been resolved. I also requested a second floor room- achieved! He even allowed me to view the room to make sure it was to my liking prior to swiping my card-Amazing! -We stayed in 201, family of 4 with 2 kids (17 & 12). The rooms are on the smaller side, but we felt very comfortable. Dishes, pots, pans etc have to be rented out $40. Which he explained when I called. - At night, the location does look a little sketchy as some of the reviews state. But it was always quiet & anyone you did see truly minds their business and goes about their way. -I would suggest packing your own towels to avoid the continuous towel swaps. But I understand why they do it. Our shower did have a slow drain but didn't really bother us. Never saw a bug in site, stove worked well, ac did too. We initially grabbed our groceries at the Walmart nearby. But few days in, stumbled across Food4less WAY CHEAPER. Location is 15min from Knotts amusement Park. 30 from Long Beach, about 45 from Santa Monica & 1 hr from Hollywood, give or take traffic. Long story short. Will stay again!

Do not book with this Studio 6. They will cancel your reservation without any notice. Drove over 20 hours straight to get there, and was told we did not have a room anymore that I booked 1.5 months in advance, and that they already booked it to someone else. You will be without a room and struggling to find another if you book with them, like we did.

Good for a rest stop

Horrible Experience when booking through Expedia. Hotel doesn't care about Expedia Bookings. They will give your already booked room to a walk in person that has more money.

I realize I did get what I paid for, but the room had insects, parking was poor and during my 3 night stay, not once did room service clean or replace towels.

You get what you pay for. But overall the motel is great. It’s in a wonderful location. There are so many great restaurants and shopping areas around and you can bring your dog and cats

Horrible all around

A/C did not cool the room. Inside door handle broken. Sketchy location. Parking inconvenience.

What I loved was that they didn’t have roaches. They had plates pans things that helped my day go by easier. Well worth my time and money. Thank you.

Dirty grounds, dirty people everywhere. AC was struggling, room was smelly. Front office smelle

Very disappointing experience. Nothing in the room was working properly, which made our stay extremely uncomfortable. The staff was also unfriendly and unhelpful. Overall, this was a horrible experience, and I would not recommend staying here.

As always the staff is very pleasant always with a smile and helpful. I was a little disappointed this day because the room that I got I found food in the cupboards it just looked like somebody rushed through cleaning this room I ended up doing it myself. I love the fact that there is paid laundry on site. Using the pay range account use it right off your phone it's wonderful! The washer does a great job and the dryer gets very hot. This trip cost me a lot more than usual because I had to check out for one day and then come back. Policy. Kind of butt hurt about that.

Cheap, but the room smelled like cigarettes could not sleep comfortably. Could not get the WiFi to work. Cheap.

Roman was very clean but old, run down and in need of a makeover. The door was difficult to open and handle was loose on the outside to point of breaking off. Deposit was required upon arrival and I was told refund would be presented the following day. At check out, the lady said 2-3 days. Inconsistent information but nice personnel.

Client beware!!! They charge your credit card a deposit (supposedly a hold) and never refund it or give you a receipt because we booked it on expedia. Then never get a real person on the phone to request a refund. Expedia customer service was no help either.

Like always friendly staff and very respectful to me. I love having a kitchen to cook and if you ask you can have the pots and pans etc. Lots of parking and fee for that. Housekeeping was friendly and did a great job with everything. Dalton's Cafe right next door and serve delicious food and service is great. Accessible to everywhere.

It’s terrible and the staff are very rude. The area is messy They have an infestation of cockroaches don’t go here ! I’m still trying to demand my money back from this nasty motel

We didn’t get much sleep because the air conditioning was barely functional. The unit indicated that its filter needed to be cleaned. We had a hot stuffy room for the night. We don’t use the shower because the non stick sticker was partially lifted and we were concerned about cleanliness. The door didn’t lock properly. We reported it to the desk and they expected us to look for the housekeeping staff to let them know while we were checking out. The lamp over one of the beds didn’t work. There was a gap between the ac unit that allowed daylight and bugs through. Something bit me and my thumb is still swollen. We will never stay there again.
