Having access to the Nelson Fitness Club was amazing! As always, the staff will do whatever it takes to make your experience great. Self parking rates are pretty high if you come and goal or.

The mashed potatoes were good at dinner and the coffee from the kitchen at breakfast was good. As a single mother that works hard for her money, I do not recommend this Hotel as a "staycation" - these are my reasons. Initially, I believed our room to be the Villa w/ the chaise lounge on the 1st floor on golf course- we ended up getting put into a Villa on the 2nd floor with no chaise lounge on ground/golf level. We did get into the room early (2 p.m. vs 4 pm) but maybe that is why.....they thought we would be happy getting in a room versus waiting. We were also separated from most everyone - I do not even think there was 1 other person in our Villa facing the golf course (dark at night too w/ ZERO lighting outside). We then called for a golf cart to take us to the pool- they never came so after 15 min., we walked to the pool ourselves. The ground around the pool was pretty dirty as mud kept getting on the white pool towels when we sat down - Prices are high for drinks at the pool but, that's to be expected. We then walked back to our room - got dinner in the room at $170 (w/ tip) - 2 people keep in mind and the next day we didn't even want to go back to the pool as it was very underwhelming, dirty and crowded. We got an $80 breakfast before we drove back out to our place- went through 10 - $10 bills in tips and grand Total for a 1-night stay w/ (2) meals and 3 mini fridge drinks was $1,600+ and some change. AGAIN, this post will not phase the "average" Ritz Carlton attendee but to a single mom that works hard and expects THE BEST for my money, this was not it.

This was my first time going to this hotel after reading various reviews about customer service, waiting times for dining, etc. I brought my wife here for a special birthday celebration, and although the concierge did a great job in accommodating special floral arrangements and balloons....... The customer service aspect of the entire trip was very poor. When I asked about clear information regarding to checking out, or the total cost of what is owed to the hotel after my initial deposit, and incidentals were charged, no one could give me a clear answer as to what my true balance will be upon checkout. Even then, as I checked out, I was just given a paper, with no indication that I owed anything. In terms of inside of the room, the decorations, the bedding, the bathroom accessories were great. There was also a spider hanging from outside of the room door and when I approached one of the employees cleaning rooms she quickly called someone to get the spider. I appreciated the sense of urgency but at the same time, a spider??? come on now!!! Dining at the knife restaurant seemed like a great experience. That would probably be the only area in the entire hotel that gave great service and I did not feel like I was being watched or judged. Everywhere else, you get eyes staring at you like you don't belong.

Wasn’t the best of the best, as hyped

For ridiculous price for one night in a non luxury hotel the “Ritz” is no longer worth going to. Pool was super dirty early in the morning meaning they had not cleaned it over night. Service was beyond slow and zero staff. Altercations with the staff and guests were embarrassing and really unprofessional. They have cut corners to save money on the most ridiculous things including the “candy bar” for kids that had 3 store bought candies and some Oreos. Not the experience we have had in previous years. At the block party there was no water and it was almost 100* and small flies everywhere, again lack of maintenance on the gold course. I don’t know how anyone can play with flies in their eyes.

The pool and outdoor amenities were amazing

There is a lot to love about this hotel. The property is beautiful, the rooms are elegant and comfortable, and the bed and pillows were exceptional. I slept very well, and the overall ambiance is exactly what you would expect from a luxury hotel. However, my experience was overshadowed by one major issue. The view from my balcony overlooked construction dumpsters and debris instead of the beautiful surroundings. For a room costing around $1,000 per night, this was extremely disappointing and far below the experience I expected from a Ritz-Carlton. What made the situation even more frustrating was the hotel’s response. On the day I checked in, I immediately expressed my concern and was told they would try to move me to another room with a better view. Later in my stay, I brought it up again and received the same promise. Unfortunately, nothing was ever done. No one followed up, no alternative room was offered, and I was left feeling that my concern simply wasn’t a priority. Luxury hotels are about more than beautiful buildings—they are about exceptional guest service. While the property itself is excellent, the lack of follow-through and attention to a legitimate concern was disappointing. When guests are paying premium rates, they should expect both a premium room and service that matches the reputation of the Ritz Carlton

Great hotel!

Wonderful stay! We loved the drinks and snack service by the pool.

We had an unexpected layover due to a canceled flight. Since we did not have our luggage, the staff kindly provided all of the necessary toiletries for us at no additional charge. You were very kind and concerned. The place was beautiful and the rooms were well adorned. We will stay here again someday.

The front desk was amazingly kind and helpful. We stayed for one night as a staycation. It was a very vanilla property. The pool, decor, events… all very meh. We were planning on staying two nights and cut our time short and opted to go home.
-
Exceptionally well maintained and attentive staff. Resort pool includes nice shady and sunny areas.
-
Ritz never disappoints and this location didn't either. Amazing hotel, staff, food options, golf options and pool. The Villas are worth the added expense....very spacious and quiet.
-
This was not the response I’m used to from the Ritz and suggest guests chose another property or location. Easily worst experience I’ve ever had and disappointing for a hotel they claims world class hospitality and service.
-
I Love the new upgrades

Very nice and the staff were exceptional. Our room was extremely dusty especially the blinds to the balcony. A bathroom light was flickering and the shower head leaked. Great place just not quiet 5 stars.
