WoodSpring Suites Chicago Darien

Location was nice Room doors, drawers were getting stuck and making sounds while opening and closing. Room main door was hard to lock. Needed to push up hard and then it will close.

The elevator was unsafe then we found cockroaches in our rooms. I will not recommend staying here.

Let's start off with the Good, The room was spacious, the beds very comfortable, the air conditioning was wonderful, the kitchen was clean and the fridge was wonderful, the staff was friendly, liked the fact that you needed a key card for access to the room floors, the bathroom worked well, and access to the E-way was great. The surrounding area was peaceful and quiet. About a 3 to 4 minute drive to a strip mall. Now the bad, the use of the internet was horrible even when you paid for the faster service, Got stuck in elevator and if another guest hadn't requested to ride in it I probably would have been in there until the staff came in at 9 a.m. The bathroom could have used some upgrading, such as appearance, our mirror was damaged and the walls were colored white yet dirty in certain areas. Overall besides the elevator and the internet not a bad place to stay.

We went there because our power was out at home for a few days and it was nearby. The second room we were given and the common areas were clean and the bed was comfortable. The first room they gave us had not been cleaned and was a pigsty from the previous occupant. When I went downstairs to complain, the employee seemed completely unfazed by this, didn’t say anything, just gave us another room. I knew it didn’t come with pots, pans, utensils coffee pot or dishes, but It would’ve been nice if it at least had pot, pan and coffee pot so I wouldn’t have had to bring them for a short stay. It seems that this place is really more for people that seem to live there and rent monthly or longer.

Just 2 pillows Self serve units Pay extra for wash towels I will never stay there anymore I preffer to pay a little bit extra but not going thruogh that experience again Sorry. I thought it was a better place to stay I guess not

Room was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of room to move around. The kitchen was very handy, and the laundry facilities were very helpful. Bed linen was clean, and bed was very comfortable.

They don't have breakfast Worst customer service worst hotel amenities .

I was propositioned. I was put in a room with no bathroom light. Front desk said the bulbs didn't come in yet. I had to insist on another room. No coffee pot in suite.

If you are use to living with roaches Woodspring is for u .Book at your own risk,I would never recommend them again The towels was dirty and the tub had a light dirty ring around it.

The day before my trip, I received a cancelation notice. It stated that since I booked through a third-party site, their hotel was overbooked...not my problem. I will never stay at or endorse one of your properties.
