Prodigy Hotel, a Days Inn by Wyndham

Nice hotel not far from UC Davis … however breakfast was not much. There wasn’t even coffee made.

No one came to next day to room service or clean. When we asked, the person in the desk said they don’t have enough staff. We had to ask for towels for the next day. Pool looked dirty.

Wonderful quiet property. Clean and beautiful.

Cold breakfast did not appeal, so went into town to eat at a restaurant, but didn't know Davis doesn't have much. It was very quiet all night. I slept in one of the queen sized beds and it was comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and I had a nice hot shower in the morning. Nice big bathroom. Good to have the microwave and fridge, coffee maker. We could not find the place at night, had to search up and down the street. I guess the main sign got hit by a car so the light was out. There was a tiny knee high sign without any lights so we finally found it. It's not hear any other motels, it was next door to a Sherwin Williams paint store on a frontage road. We had to have the concierge come open the windows for us. We did not know how to use the AC, had to call and ask. The fellow at the desk overnight was super nice though, came to our room and opened the windows for us. The windows were way too hard to open.

Clean and quiet, and pet friendly! Breakfast could have better options but everything else was perfect!

The staff person who checked me in was not helpful at all. I was not told about pool hours, about breakfast times or where breakfast was, I was not told where my room was or where to park. Very unhelpful and I felt very unwelcome

Excellent in everything! I would like to give all the credit to Lucy she’s the only one working by the time we check in computer is not working but she handles all the situation perfectly. I’m so impressed with her. She’s amazing excellent she deserves more than five stars! Thank you Lucy! Keep it up!

The room was clean, but there was a dip in the floor going into the bathroom and a small gap as well that showed that the floor was broken.

Room was spacious and clean. Could not access the gym early morning. Accessing hotel from car to room was difficult with luggage.

It was nice to have a breakfast but more items could have been offered.The hotel was clean but I needed to ask for towels and toilet paper

Big area They don’t clean room everyday. Last 8 days I was in this hotel but they clean my room only one day. Several times I informed but they don’t care. Very sad

2. The building smelled like roach spray. The exterior parking is run down . 3. The shower was so small you had to jump out to turn around. I have had better showers in FEMA trailers in Afghanistan. The towels are 1 ply. There are two shower dispenser neither worked well. 4. The mini fridge worked but rattled all night. 5. The tenants next to were so noisy I was awoken dozens of times. 6. I paid nearly 1000.00 for three nights!

Location, quiet Breakfast was poor.

The room was clean, but the air conditioner was very loud. At check in there was a live person who was unenthusiastic, but competent. Check out was to a face on a monitor, which I hated. He kept telling me to put my key in a slot, yet it was NOT the slot labeled "room key". Maybe I'm being nitpicky, but talking to a monitor takes one star away right off the bat. Lastly, the breakfast was a joke. Yucky coffee, stale cereal, some bread to toast and some tiny pastries. I did grab a yogurt, but I rate breakfast a 1 out of 10. The price I paid for the room (which was hiked up for Davis graduation tremendously) I might stay there again in a pinch, but only at half the cost I paid this visit.
