Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dayton Southwest by IHG

The carpeting in our hallway and room weren’t very clean. The elevators were dirty. Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good, and area was clean. Aside from the carpet our room was clean. It was worth the price we paid.

Maintained, and always eager to help. The food was great and anything one could need the staff was always helpful. I wanted to thank everyone individually, but I was unable to so from the bottom of my heart thank you for a wonderful week and anytime I stay in Dayton it will be with Mr Lewis and his staff. I apologize for not mentioning everyone individually, but know I remember you. Thank you for everything.

Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Overall stay was great.

I enjoyed the Dove products from hand soap to shampoo. John, the desk clerk, was very nice.

The breakfast was incredible! Kudos to the chef, it was the best hotel breakfast I've ever had! My room had ants in the bathroom. I told the front desk the next day, they said they had pest control out prior to our arrival and that it clearly didn't help. She was going to give me extra points but she did not follow thru.

The bathroom had hair on the floor, and small bugs on the counter. The noise from outside highway traffic is very noticeable and there is a train that frequently blows it horn so bring ear plugs to actually sleep.

I liked the location. It was close to gas and food. Shopping was like 1 freeway exit away. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The beakfast was fresh, hot, and bland. I also wish that there were trays either in the area or one in the room that I could have easily transported my food with.

Staff was super helpful and friendly.. but the actual hotel has seen better days.

Rooms are OK. Breakfast is good, don't miss. Staff is very friendly. We had an issue booking via Expedia - one room was booked under the reference number and another one went under a name (and could not be linked to a number). But we figured it out together with the staff. Good staff indeed

John at the front desk was wonderful. Very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good also. Appreciated the gas station and fast food restaurants on both sides of the hotel. The hotel is also located by the highway. The room was comfy and clean. And last, it wasa pretty chill and quiet location.. I would stay here again.

So many things were not working at this hotel.

Of mold in the windows tubs shower stalls…shower floors were slimy has to place 4 towels in the shower floor to feel just a little comfortable getting in there for a shower

Swimming pool water cloudy, would benefit from better water monitoring and treatment.

Breakfast Felt like a super 8 remodeled
