Best Western Aku Tiki Inn

I paid for ocean view , received Partial Ocean/City view. I complained about the A/C making noise , they just ignored me. Main lobby was hot, at the bar they only had one lady serving everyone. The wait and drinks were horrible. Will not stay at this hotel.

Horrible staff… manger was rude . We spent 340 for one night and they want to charge for parking also . You rent the room and it don’t cover to park one vehicle which is ridiculous they charge extra every night to park there smh . So we didn’t stay and they won’t give us our money back we are fighting this .

Such a great place to stay! Even the City View rooms has a beach view so that's nice. So convenient to have a hotel on site and loved the kid pool, it was perfect for my grandson to play in!

It was awesome with an amazing pool and beach very close to hotel. Get prepared to pay 8.00 to park per day. This is new as I’ve stayed here for years and haven’t had to do this before.

Never stay here again.

Room was clean. Amenities were fantastic. I would stay there again.

Front desk staff was very professional and polite, Housekeeper on my floor did an awesome job cleaning my room , I would come back again and recommend

Room and shower not too clean, hallways stunk of Marijuana, door to room was hard to close, could hear others slamming theirs twice to get it closed, was on first floor and just outside my patio with ocean view was trash on the ground that stayed there all three days and nights, front desk women very rude and unfriendly, pool was cloudy could not see bottom of pool, no tiki hut, no tiki theme to hotel or rooms, pool is much smaller then photos lead on in photos, somehow a woman walked into our room at 4:17am our second night and said "my bad" and shut the door. Had to get up to close door properly, im assuming she worked for hotel otherwise I have no idea how she gained access to our room. Would not recommend staying, will not return.

They are horrible people they took my money if a 2 day stay yelled and screamed over the phone and when I did not feel comfortable to be in their hotel within five minutes of the booking, I tried to cancel and they decided to keep all of my money. I will continue to fight to get my money back the owner she feels entitled and she feels that because she’s in America. She feels like she can do whatever she wants. She says she’s an American citizen and she can do whatever she wants. I tried everything especially when I’m sick I was. Going there to get a relaxation before a treatment, and it turned out to be the biggest disaster of my life.

I loved that my patio opened to the pool and the staff were so nice and personable. The pool area flooded in the rain and it had areas that were under construction like something was there that didn't get replaced. Also with a microwave, stovetop and fridge I expected some kitchenware and pans.

Loved our stay here. Had a beach front room, the sun rises were amazing and hotel was within walking distance to the boardwalk!

The location was great. However the pool area didn’t get cleaned the entire time we were there (4 days and 3 nights). The pool water wasn’t clear and the deck was covered in old towels and garbage. The staff was told but did nothing about it. The interior was clean however and the room was a good size for our family of 4.

I enjoyed the beach view, but the property needs some maintaining. They planted flowers but there were hazard areas around the pool that need attention. Someone could fall and get hurt and it was an eye sore.

Great view and location. Clean pool and facilities Tiki bar was not there as advertised. Resteraunt only open for lunch and dinner weekends

Parking 56$ for 7 days 834$ for no free breakfast are coffe up front for guest like other places Hotel had a restaurant but breakfast cost to eat and coffe costed had coffe in the room but room wasn't cleaned every day So we have stayed at this hotel for the last 3 years and this year been the worse use to they gave out 2 free drinks tickets 5 to 6 every day that is gone to hotel has 1 elevator and has 2 but the other one has been broke for I know 3 years The good the staff is great house keeping great the place is clean and smells so good So they have a really nice pool so for the money I paid was a bed and shower and a pool and that's all I'll pay more somewhere else to have some amenities and the hotel on the beach but has stairs down to the beach and you have to risk dumping out your wagon to get it to the bottom to the beach are make 3 to 4 trips up and down the stairs to take your beach stuff to the beach to set it up if it been me I would have built a ramp for the handicap and the others with wagons and all

I have amazing experience! The rooms were nice and clean they smell amazing. The view was excellent. The food at the bar was so delicious. The drinks were spectacular. Plenty of pool towels to lounge by the pool live DJ music was a plus. 10 out of 10 highly recommend. My stay was from June 19 through the 22nd 2026.

There were two employees at the counter the one who knew what they were doing, went upstairs and the one that was left, ignored everybody because they were clearly trading But neither employees explain to the rest of the very busy lobby that it was gonna take a few minutes they just left
