A/C unit was going out. Complained and nothing was done... Then unit turned off, staff said it was due to it being so hot out. I'm 48, been staying there since I wS a kid.... WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!

This was my first trip to Daytona and decided on Perry’s Ocean Edge Resort. The staff is welcoming and provided all the information I needed for my stay. The rooms are spotless and the rooms are well furnished. Plenty of activities on property my family really enjoyed the mini golf section. Hours of fun to be had at the pools and of course the beach. Tip for new comers get up early around 6am to see the gorgeous sunrise you may get lucky like us a see some wildlife. Will be making Perry’s Ocean Edge Resort my home away from home for summer vacations in the future.

Didn’t let me in the room until an hour after check in and then the staff came into our room without knowing the room was checked into. Then cigarette buds were left on our balcony.

This was a very nice place for our family to stay on vacation. There were 5 of us in one room and it fit us all comfortably. I especially love the little kitchenette. Wasn’t crazy about the breakfast as they only had donuts, but they were actually some of the best donuts I’ve had. There were two outside pools, and inside pool, and a hot tub. Overall we were very happy with this hotel!

Phenomenal resort. Staff extremely friendly, room was perfect with balcony and ocean view, and superb beach access. Will definitely be back

Been staying here for years. Always great !!! Thanks

Only place that I would stay at at Daytona. Staff was efficient (needed baking pan, delivered in 10 minutes), friendly staff, office was efficient and helpful. Love the indoor pool and spa especially with lightning and heavy rain outside. Constant supply of pool towels. Love the number of rooms that are oceanside with balconies.

The main draw of this hotel is the location. It has super easy to access the beach. We also enjoyed our kid suite room, as it allowed our 12 year old son to have his own space without having a second hotel room. With that being said, I would caution travelers about a few things about this property: 1) Parking can be extremely tricky and sometimes we had to park across the street. Guests are not given priority parking and non-guests use the parking lot to go to the beach. 2) They do not have daily housekeeping, which is inconvenient due to sand coming into your room. We had to request towels daily, and dirty towels were only picked up once during our stay. 3) The demeanor of the staff was very hit and miss. We had multiple interactions with front desk and maintenance staff that left us feeling perplexed or annoyed by their behavior. For example, my husband used the elevator where another guest had left a luggage cart inside. When he left the elevator, a maintenance worker scolded him for leaving it in the elevator, even though my husband didn't leave the cart there originally. 4) A lot of the lights outside by the pool don't work, so if you are at the pool at night, it is very dark. I actually stepped on a hairclip that was left on the deck and injured my foot because I could not see it. All this being said, the time we spent at the beach made our stay 100% worth it.

It was a last minute booked but I received a really good room, clean, close to beach and pool, staff was friendly
-
I like the pools and the indoor pool. Access to the beach was easy!
-
The property is outdated and can use some upgrades but for what it’s worth it was clean, the staff was awesome. Very responsive.

Wonderful place to stay!

I had to wait two hours when I arrived from check-in and the room was still not ready and the bathroom was dirty

We stayed in a north tower efficiency unit. We had a fantastic amount of space including a pull out couch, dining area and kitchen where I was able to cook. The large closet was across from a sink, counter and huge mirror, which means no one had to fight to get makeup done while someone else was in the actual bathroom. Large balcony with a wonderful view of the ocean, pool and tables below. It’s an older property but they have made updates to the interior and we enjoyed our stay. We took advantage of the delicious donuts, pools, tiki hut and beach.

2 things that unfortunately made my decision not to come and stay here again. 1Parking though it was free it limits you from leaving and enjoying because the parking will be gone. When you ask the staff they flat out say no guest parking. Or excuse for what ever inconvenience it may have caused. We had to buy a fan because it was hot in our extra room with bunk beds. We paid $630 ish for two nights. Not worth that at all.

Elevators were scary hot. Room was not ready at 4pm didnt get in til after 5. Room was not clean very disappointed

This is our second stay here and we just love it. We stayed in the north tower which is our favorite spot now. The resort is so convenient to everything and we love that it is pet friendly. Michelle at front desk was very pleasant and accommodating. Thanks for another great stay!!

I want to be fair and note that we didn't use the amenities like the pools or the hot tub, and we checked out before breakfast, so I can't judge those services. They might be great, and maybe for some people, the amenities outweigh the bugs. For us, after seeing the state of the room, I wouldn't trust getting into a pool or hot tub here. I could have dealt with the bad parking and the outdated room, but bugs are where I draw the line. Most staff were friendly, but I will absolutely never go back.
