Historical, perfect location in the middle of everything. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms need some tlc, very dusty and could use a good vacuum. Stained shower prob from 70s. Everything in the room probably needs a good wash

My wife and I loved everything about the BULLOCK! From the historical values, how beautifully maintained it was and especially how great ALL the staff members were to us!!!! Also, my wife got a hot dog and chips at 1 am!!!! Perfect!

We really liked this unique, historical hotel stay. It’s a historic hotel so modernization isn’t its forte however, the charm, history and staff were amazing!
-
Staff was great!! In all areas of the hotel! Rate increases when events are in town.

The noise from outside kept us from sleeping.

The hotel is a bit no frills, but holds that old west charm we were looking for during our stay in Deadwood. Our single queen room was on the smallish side, but it was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location can't be beat. The breakfast offerings in the restaurant were simply but executed perfectly. The pancakes might be the biggest I've ever seen! The bed was REALLY soft. I have back issues, so it was a bit rough after sleeping on the soft mattress for a couple of nights. On the other hand, my wife was really happy with the softness of the bed.

Great location- stepping right out the door and you're on main street ready to shop. Lots of great restaurants nearby. I'm a history buff, so I loved staying in Seth's Bullock's hotel. Did not see any ghost. Older hotel, but well maintained and good ac during the massive heatdome '26. Also, bottled water in hotel room was a nice touch. We didn't think we'd have a mini fridge, but we did. There was no bartender on site the day we arrived, so my husband and I walked down the street for a drink. We also tried to eat breakfast in the hotel before leaving town, but there was a 45 min wait and it was 9am. We decided to leave town and find breakfast in Sturgis. Also, the hotel offers a ghost tour for $20/person, but only Thurs-Sun. We happened to be there on a Tuesday. Bummer.
