Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta Decatur/Emory

My only problem with the hotel was the lack of signs and directions to get around. I had to ask how to get to parking garage and how to get from parking garage into hotel. Thankfully other guests were able to direct me. The hotel was clean, spacious and decorated tastefully. Check in on Saturday evening went without hitch and was very quick. Overall my stay was above expectations.

Breakfast options were not as diverse as other Hampton Inn locations.

My stay was great.

Excellent location in downtown Decatur, making walking around a breeze. The hotel room was very nice and roomy. We were giving an ADA room, which we didn't need, and the shower being set up the way it was caused there to be water all over the bathroom floor. For our next visit, I would try to get a different style of room. The bed was AMAZING. Both my wife and I slept so hard and so peacefully, it was excellent. The breakfast was free, but you can do better hitting up the local places around the city if a more substantial breakfast is what you are looking for. Overall, no complaints about our visit, and would happily recommend to anyone looking in the Decatur/Emory area for a hotel.

The front desk staff was wonderful, nice and accommodating. The day of check out there was a water issue and the manager and from desk for the morning on 7/15 took care of night. I would stay again!

Easy check in, lovely staff, decent breakfast. BUT all the lights in the room are are the brightest white light and extremely jarring. I ended up draping a towel over the one lamp we turned on. It’s a hotel room not an operating room. The light is awful. And they have a barn door in the bathroom (gross)

Location turned out to be super, 1 block from MARTA station, 1 block from a local World Cup fanfest and the restaurant I had planned to visit. Able to leave my car in safe area, travel in to the Benz and return easily. Mice staff, nice room. Had a fire alarm at 730am but was a water pipe issue, quickly fixed. Easy out, just dropped room cards at desk.

Our room was clean. The refrigerator was not packed with expensive items for sale, it was empty and worked well. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom clean. Everything in the room worked perfectly well. WiFi was strong Will definitely recommend

We stayed for 5 nights. The beds were old with 2 indentations on each bed from use. The TV did not work - it flickered, turned black, and then came back on repeatedly. The translucent curtain was broken and did not go up/down. And the thermostat was not working - it was either too hot or too cold when set at 1 degree difference. I spoke to the front desk about it. After my stay I reached out the facility and talked to 2 different managers asking for some remuneration. They said they would get back to me and never did. Other than the room being a big of a disaster for almost $360/night, the main hotel was clean and the staff was friendly.
