Poor condition. Dirty floor. Shower barley working, no elevator available, not ADA compliant

Small insect invasion after first nite. A 100 or so. Mainly on bathroom sink. On leaving we notified hotel. Hopefully they got an exterminator for this.

But outside the rooms, there were large bugs. I would encourage you to sweep up the dead bugs outside the rooms daily. The rooms also have a mildewy smell. However for the cost, this hotel is a decent option.

Didn't stay to find out. Place was so bad we left after seeing the room. Only one staff on duty that we saw. Upon entering the room the main door was "messed up" so that you had to slam it to close---and then it was not very secure. The AC unit that was "in the wall" was actually sitting several inches into the room such that the outdoors was visible thru a 8'-10" hole. The hotel in general was not portrayed accurately in any of the photos shown online.

There was really nothing I didn't like...Although the building is older it was immaculately clean.

Location Very dated. My room had been redone and painted. My son‘s room still have the old drop ceiling, etc. All the lamps were rusted. Beds absolutely sucked.

The attendant on duty was very helpful. Friendly and informative. The only negative was the refrigerator freezer, while working, was in dire need of defrosting. Otherwise everything was great! Would definitely stay there again.

    Llocation to Emory Hospital

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Location was perfect for getting to Emory Hospital. Its a nice location for taking walks. Many restaurants close by. Its in a historic district so some things needed updating, but very clean. Its small. All staff went out of their way to accommodate us and so very friendly. We will return if needing the hospital again.

The location is great if you're visiting campus. The staff was friendly and available for questions. The pool is not in working order and hasn't been for years. The rooms are very dated and have an older smell but again, they were clean.

Great stay overnight for an early appointment at Emory. Breakfast is grab & go, parking was 7.50 a night, no covered unloading zone in the event of rain, & no elevator so you must be able to carry your bags upstairs. No complaints at all with this stay but definitely a few things you certainly want to know before you go.

It Was Clean & Nice It Wasn’t Fully Stocked With Tissue..But Overall I Liked It

Great location, just a little old school. Good hotel. Worth the price.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

The lobby smells bad and breakfast is not good. Outside area such as stairs are not well maintained.

The location to Emory and the room size are really the only things it has going for it. The staff is between meh and rude, depending on who you get. After running a load of laundry, the dryer didn't work and took our money to boot. There were sweet ants on the desk area. It is extremely dated but cleanish. They seem to want to nickle and dime the customer though. When we stayed the second time (purely due to the walkable distance), we were in an emergency situation trying to travel in for a family member so I purchased the insurance in case things changed before we could arrive. I was assured it was a simple as a phone call to cancel and refund especially after hearing what our situation was. Within 30 min I was calling back to cancel since things had changed that quickly. They patched me through to some outside agency or higher headquarters or something. They first told me I didn't purchase the insurance. Then they agreed I had. Then they said I had to go on some website to basically plead my case. The site asked me for proof from the doctor in the form of a memo saying what changed or a reason we would need to cancel. This was exactly what I needed to be dealing with instead of getting my wife to her dying father. Now I am in an endless loop of E-mails with them saying they are awaiting proof and me saying I can't give them proof since we aren't even at Emory anymore and have no contact with the doctors there. Not to mention, this is likely a HIPPA violation of some sort if the doctors did provide that to me. I am still waiting on my $400+ and doubt I will see it. I wouldn't stay there again period. I had already told my wife I didn't want to stay there after the lethargic staff and the fact that they doled out towels like they were prized possessions. This experience sealed the deal. There are too many other places that are just as convenient, more modern, and cleaner with a staff that is at least somewhat interested. They also don't act like they are doing you a favor by letting you stay there.

An elevator should be installed for better egress to 2nd and 3rd floors. Breakfast was only danish and coffee or tea.
