Good trip. Would go again

The resort is in a beautiful location on the lake and the building and grounds are well maintained. The food and service at the primary restaurant and bar were very good. The golf course was well maintained and challenging.

It has a great location. It is clean but the building itself is aging. I will definitely stay here again. Just don’t expect a five star atmosphere. Nice for girls trip and family weekends.

I always enjoy my stays at Lake Lawn. Thanks once again!

Very nice resort Everything can be reached via covered walkways Had several activities including nice pool and area around pool, many quiet lounges, several restaurants/bar and several kids' activities areas. Nice playroom for kids and fun arcade. Parking is close and open flat lot. We didn't golf but heard from others that course is nice. Right on the Lake good setting. Several lake cruise offered. 1878 restaurant service was excellent and prime rib was one of best I ever had. Room very good size Overall very nice resort on the Lake room for couples and families. Close to Lake Geneva downtown also. All staff very friendly and helpful If you have mobility issues the walk to restaurants/ pool can be long depending on room location . Ask for room closer to center of hotel.

The location on the lake and surrounding green areas were great. Having an indoor pool onsite was useful to keep the children entertained during bad weather. The bathrooms are more newly renovated and come with a big bathtub, which was nice. The rooms also have an outside area with rocking chairs, and it was lovely to sit outside and relax during the good weather. Rooms were clean. Staff was very friendly. We stayed here for a wedding weekend. The prices were inflated as a result, and I do not feel like I received sufficient value for the money. The carpets in the hotel hallways and rooms are old, smelly, and a bit damp/sticky. They really should be replaced. The air conditioning unit in our room was on the older side and had a death rattle, which made it hard to sleep at night. Also, paint had been pulled off the wall in the upstairs bathroom in our room and some of the fixtures were loose on the wall. It also rained a fair amount during our stay and you could see buckets placed around the hotel in several places to catch water leaking in through doors and ceilings.

The rooms were dated and musty. The front desk staff was often behind the doors of the office and not at the front desk. I often called even though I was at the front desk to get help.

Beautiful property with lake views. Room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Onsite restaurants have nice views, great staff, and delicious food. Enjoyed a boat tour and pool. Perfect anniversary getaway.

An amazing resort
-
Proximity to the water and updated rooms. The cost doesn’t match the value. Lack of use of facilities due to weddings. Miniature golf no longer available and the game room had non functioning games and not clean. The checkin staff were not friendly and the food was just ok.

They bill you for the 1st nights stay when the reservation is made & bill you for the rest of the stay even before you check out. Had to request towels & sheets cause they clean their rooms every other day even when you request a daily room cleaning.

A bit outdated but well maintained
-
Bathroom sink was peeling, literally. Most unsightly.

For a busy family holiday weekend, my overnight stay was quiet. I didn’t stay long enough to use more than the grab and go restaurant which was great, including my made to order breakfast sandwich.

We stayed in the Lakewood building Saturday and Sunday night labor day weekend. We rented 2 queen bed loft that as advertised sleeps 6 people. There were 3 of us. Lakewood is an old building which was not remodeled. We did not like the room. This kind of old /ugly room should be priced at $300 most, not $700 per night. $700 is what we paid including taxes and resort fees. Yes, they charge $30 per day for resort usage which is on top of the room rate. The room sleeps 6 people but there is only one bathroom. Air conditioning is in the walls on thirst and second floors. A/C units are extremely loud, old and blow cold air right on our heads when sleeping. We had to turn them off because it was unbearable. There are spider webs on the beams. And we saw spiders. There are two old rocking chairs on the balcony. Not enough room for 6 people, just 2. Chair was so old that it broke. No one cleaned the room on Sunday. We asked for cleaning, but no one came. There was not enough towels in the room. Phone in the room doesn't work, no signal, no way to call reception. I wanted plates to warm up my leftovers, i had to walk to the restaurant to get them. They gave me tiny coffee plates and refused to give regular plates. Horrible. Check in/check out should be 3 and 12 not 4 and 11. Mattresses are cheap and pillows are stiff. No fan in the bathroom. Honestly, we got ripped off. We will never go there again.

Very disappointing for the price

Respectionist at check in and out was hard to understand and was not helpful. Resppectionist the next day to get second room was very good. The Golf course was excellent. Our room was okay but balcony sucked. Son's room was a loft and was great with a nice view. Would go back again using knowledge gained.
