Amazing stay with Denali princess

We had a fabulous view and the room was well appointed. If anything to mention, a mini-fridge would have been a nice convenience. The food outlets we tried were very good and the location was extremely convenient. Our Denali tour bus picked us up right at the lodge.

Great beds but needs black out curtains. Too much light in rooms.

Amazing stay at the Princess Lodge. The room was super clean, and the staff on-site were very helpful. We would have loved it if the restaurants were open until a bit more late (like 11 or midnight) or if there was a deli/vending machine for readymade food pickup.

The check-in process was quite slow and we spent 35 minutes at the front desk. We just stayed in for one night but early in the morning we were waked up twice one at 7:30 am, the other at 8:30 am, asking us if we need room service — the 8:30 one directly opened our door without consent, which is extremely rude and inappropriate.

Check-in was a total Charley foxtrot but overall pretty decent place.

Room was great. Parking was very far from the room. No one offer any options to get our luggage to the room. Other than that it was very nice.

The staff are great but the room is not sound proof at all

Overall everything was wonderful. Great location and

The staff here us so focused on the many Cruise customers that they have little regard for overnight folks like us. The hotel location is excellent, so if you don't need any help from the staff, then it is an OK place to stay. The price was almost twice that of the McKinley Princess and the service dor non-cruise customers was subpar.

I enjoyed the views and the convenient shuttle to Denali park that made helpful stops. It was a relaxing experience.

The polo case were dirty with some marks on them. The room wasn’t be équiped with Classic things like a hair dryer. The hotel looks globally old and the price we have paid for the room doesn’t worth it honestly

Sink didn’t drain—which we reported and the hotel fixed it—but then it leaked every time we used it (onto the floor).

My room card wasn't working, and after I called, it took them a while to send someone. They assigned us a room where the heating system didn't work. I called again, and they said they would send someone to fix it. After 45 minutes, I texted them, and they mentioned the heater was broken in that room and promised to change our room. In the new room, there was no fridge. This is a big lodge, but it lacks experienced staff at the front desk. On the bright side, the view is great, and the lodge is very clean

Got the worst room which was facing the lounge, couldn’t even open the windows because zero privacy
-
Clean modern room, comfortable bed.

The staff were what made the biggest difference. They helped us with our dinner theater and with our bus tour - we ran into some issues and the staff helped save us on both! Amazingly helpful and kind.

This was our second stay at the lodge and unfortunately it was not any better than the first. The line at the front desk upon arrival in the evening was long with only two employees working. When it was finally my turn, I was told by Employee-1 that only Employee-2 (who was with another guest) could check in guests and that I needed to return to the line, where I again waited a long time. Then we were assigned a second-floor room, not the first-floor, ADA room that was requested during the reservation process. My elderly mother is unable to climb two flights of stairs. Thankfully one of the baggage handlers recognized the issue before we began the trek to our room and worked to get us moved to a room that still required my mother to climb 4-5 stairs but was manageable. This lodge requires guests to park in the front lot and traverse the entire complex to reach the rooms. Thankfully the baggage handlers transported our party and luggage to the room via golf cart/gator. Our room was a standard hotel room with two queen beds and a stool for sitting; nothing fancy. We ate at Fannie Q's twice and I have to say the food was excellent! If we visit Denali a third time, I will be exploring other lodging options but will definitely visit Fannie Q's again.
