Nothing, terrible.

Even though the cabins are VERY small, they still filled the bill. At the beginning of our stay we were quite disappointed that the staff was not helpful in finding us a ride to our first adventure only 15 mins earlier however over time, they stepped up to help us when needed etc. thank you particularly to Charles for his help and attention! Finally, do know that there is NO TV signal. Evidentially the streaming signal was not strong enough. We asked several times for help with this but during our 3 night stay no one was able to help.

I really liked the staff here and the shuttle was actually usable. The problem was the awful rooms. They fit two beds into a tiny cabin with no AC or even a fan, it was way too warm in our cabin and we couldn't get it cooled off. There was nothing to dampen sound so every person walking by on the wooden deck outside was noticeable, even after closing the windows. The sink was basically in the middle of the room, so that's awkward. They also advertised a sauna and hot tub but both had to be reserved and neither was in good condition, the sauna was colder than our room.

That was not the case. When I brought my belongings out at 10:00 AM the next day, the new room was not ready. In fact, it wasn't ready until 3:30 PM, leaving me essentially without a room for over 5 hours. To make matters worse: Wi-Fi Issue: The Wi-Fi did not work in either room. Because of this, I was forced to cancel an important Zoom meeting. Plumbing Issue: The hot water in the shower was inconsistent, constantly fluctuating between cold and hot. At nearly $600 per night, this level of service and lack of basic amenities is entirely unacceptable. When I requested a discount to compensate for being without a room for over 5 hours and having no functional Wi-Fi, the hotel refused. I would not recommend this property.

Lowkey the water pressure of the shower as bad and I didn’t know Alaskan hotels/motels had sinks outside the bathroom. Made it very inconvenient. Our shower leaked past the curtain and onto the floor pretty bad, Denali is also a bad like place for good. It’s a touristy heavy area with limited things to eat but many places to shop for the same thing.

Great location and very charming. Rooms were decent size and beds comfortable but they didnt have side tables on both sides. They need to put HOOKS for people to hold stuff/ gear and even just a small ledge on the other side of the bed. Little things would make this charming little cabin more functional. Bathroom showers are pretty dated and spray gets all over the place. Its convenient to food and tourist shopping andncoffee shops but it is a steep downhill walk or a shuttle ride. Its lovely and charming but if you have mobility issues than this would be a challenge.

Our stay was fantastic! The staff was so accommodating and your shuttle service was awesome!

Rustic feel Run by kids. Some were from foreign countries, which is fine, but I got the sense that they could care less about true customer satisfaction. Some were better than others, a few were as new to the property as I was.

Hotel itself was ok. The staff was excellent. The transportation at the hotel was not up to par. The roadway was hazardous and steps need attention. It would have been nice to have paved access from the highway to the hotel and rooms:: very dangerous for people with limited mobility

Its a very basic cabin. Do not expect any fancy hotel amenities here. Its a great location to park entrance with great food options nearby. Given the location Denali which is somewhat remote, this is one of the most practical resorts there is.

The front desk staff was friendly and the maintenance team was very prompt. We had an issue with the heat - it was not working, and they came to attend to the problem right away. A new thermostat had to be installed and they fixed that quickly. We also had an evening with zero power, called the front desk and again maintenance was out fairly quickly and the problem was resolved. The attendants who came to "refresh" the room were great! I was very pleasantly surprised by the coolers and the ice bags in the freezers on each level of the property - I thought this was a great value add and it was much appreciated as well as the daily supply of bottled water and coffee pods. I really think that if you had newer towels it would add A LOT to the experience. The towels everyday may have been clean, however they looked so dingy and worn. A refresh on the towel situation in my review would have increased my rating a full star. For the price, I paid for two rooms, I really value nice white towels. With that being said, the robes provided at the hot tub restroom were amazing - if the towels would have been in that shape, you're approaching 4 - 4.5 stars! The cleanliness of the hot tub was much to be desired. There was dirt stuck on the inside walls above the water line of the hot tub. I wiped it off and we got in because we were so cold from our room with the issue of having no heat, but I was kind of disappointed at that. The staff explained the cleaning process to us before we used the hot tub, so finding dirt there was a bummer. But, again, we were so cold that we wiped it off and used it. We loved the robes and the fact that there was a shower by the hot tub.

The staff is the main reason why it's not a 1 rating. Rides to park were nice also. Very good job with hiring. This was absolutely the most sub-par accommodation we have ever had, and for $477 a night! No clean drinking water in the rooms, no heater (we were in low 50s/high 40s), no wifi and therefore no TV. Room and bed were tilted, first hairdryer didn't work, listing says there were daily housekeeping and washers and dryers - there weren't. We know it's a short season but the sub-standard conditions are more reminiscent of the 3rd world than what we paid.

Very good property nestled in woods. The road to the hotel is uphill however the shuttle service is really good. The staff is very helpful and we very much enjoyed our stay. Just one point to note - If you arrive from Fairbanks by train you reach hotel by 12:30 pm and your room may not be ready till 4pm. It happened to us and we would have appreciated clear timeline for room availability so that we could have used those 4 hrs going to visitor center in the Denali park.

Adorable little cabins with great Mountain View’s. Staff were fantastic and always professional and polite. If we needed help, it came immediately. Great location near shops, ice cream and restaurants. Amazing pizza at Prospectors . When booking , there was a 49th State restaurant on site. Upon arrival, it was a new restaurant called Takos. We were disappointed with that. Dinner was good, but $12-$19 for a breakfast burrito and coffee was not for us. Would definitely stay again.

Everything went well. Only complaint is that the shuttle wasn't available all day. Being out of service for several hours in the middle of the day was not very helpful

We had an excellent experience at Crows Nest! The cabin was very comfortable - the king bed was very nice and the large cooler outside was helpful. They have complimentary coffee, ice for the cooler and a nice hot tub. The location is excellent close to the “action” but up away from the busyness.

Arrived 10:45pm, but the front office closed at 10pm. We checked in at Tako restaurant, and they were super helpful and easily able to speak to resort manager and got us checked in. I didn't realize parking lot was a few stories below cabin, so we got taken up in 4x4/Golf Cart, which was fine. Just be aware you will do many flights of stairs without using resort assistance. No problem for me and kids. I like the climbing :). We got to room and room was good. Heater was on, so room was really hot for me and my kids. No worries, we opened a few windows. We were ready for bed, and closed curtains in room, which have something to be desired for anyone needing "black out". Bring face cover if you are light sensitive at night sleeping. We had one for my son luckily! Adjacent restaurant had really good chips/salsa and variety of tacos. Got 2 free drinks at bar for stay. There is ice chest outside each room and available ice bags to keep any perishables cool. We didn't have anything, so didn't need to use. Very short drive to Denali Park entrance. May not have been exactly what I has imagined, but was very nice for our stay. My kids said it was "cute and cozy"!

Great place to be when you are going to and from Denali National Park area. Local food is good too.
