Catbird Hotel

Rooms were very clean and well-appointed with unique amenities like a pour over coffee maker. With the kitchenette, you get a burner with a stir fry pan and a practically full-sized fridge and freezer. The rooms were thoughtfully designed to make maximum use of space. So the fridge blends into cabinets that also hold a microwave and kitchen utensils. It feels very different than a hotel room, in a good way. It was comfortable enough for a longer stay. We got two rooms. One had a king bed instead of a queen and was noticably larger. I love how the blackout projector screen goes up to become a large picture window. You can watch the world go by from your bed or have a movie night in the middle of the day.

This place was great with a few minor issues, but it would not deter us from coming back! The detail in the design and amenities is amazing, I have severe food allergies so I cook all my meals, I had most of what I needed to cook our whole trip. The room was really nice and had so much storage. Only issue in room was noise, at times it sounded like construction almost, not sure what it was but it was only for a few hours the first day. Second issue was we went to order food at front desk, then saw a female employee use her bare hands to scrape someone else’s fries onto their plate and eat a few fries off of it as well before it went to the person. Anyways overall great experience with a few minor issues, will definitely come back!

This was the most fun I have had in a hotel stay in many years.

The vibe is very hip. Expect service to be slow. Do self check in and wait if you need anything, but chill about it.

Exceptional

Getting to the hotel was super easy on the train from the airport. Literally one block away. The room was very clean and super cool. Bed was comfortable and bathroom had everything we needed. Staff was friendly and the coffee was great. Nice vibe overall but we stayed over a weekend and there was a planned rave party on the rooftop from about 3 to 9:30pm. To say that it was just loud and obnoxious doesn’t even come close to how annoying this was for two older peeps who hit the sack around 9:00. Our room was thumping and the sound was bouncing off everything in every direction. It did finally end around 9:45 so they are somewhat cognizant of their guests . We just didn’t understand why they allow these types of parties up there when it affects every single guest at their hotel. Next morning there was melange of vomit out front… just saying… not necessary.

Amazing experience. When in Denver I’ll consider this stay first. Right off the train line that goes to union station and airport. Conveniently located near eaters and cannabis. Love the room set up.

Superb

Nice hotel with lots of places to hang out and relax besides just your room. The lobby has a very laid back comfortable feeling where you can do puzzles, play games or just enjoy a snack or drink. The rooftop has a bar with more games, pool table, hammock and seating. We enjoyed our stay.

I have stayed here several times. This last time I had a suite and it smelled like cats. The property does allow pets, but that was not well received. I will give them another try. The staff and location are the redeeming quality.

Property is in a great location for a show at the Mission Ballroom and there are lots of restaurants in walking distance. Very clean and friendly hotel.

This place is on their way to a Michelin star. Staff was amazing, ambiance in every part of the hotel was impeachable, the lobby is diffrent and welcoming and the rooftop bar I could sit for hours if I didn’t have to explore the city, and the room…. Unreal for the price. ONLY thing I have to say is toilet paper and that’s an easy fix

Clean, accommodating The location and the high price point did not match the value. Also, it smelled like pets and litter boxes. But is pet-friendly yet smell not managed
