Roosevelt Grand Dakota, SureStay Collection by Best Western

My room wasn't very clean. The carpet is old,dirty and worn. The linens on the bed were old and the towels are thin. There is no coffee maker in the room. The staff at the front desk were friendly and quickly checked me in.

Staff was helpful but property badly in need of A remodel. Rooms old, hallway carpets dirty , hall radiator covers damaged and not repaired. Buffet breakfast was not good with limited options. Not worth what they are charging. Many other options in the area that are much better.

Room wasn’t clean. Condition of this hotel continues to decrease. We were placed on the third floor for the whole weekend and just forgotten about. The carpet was coming up when we got off the elevator and entered the dark third floor. We have been staying here for years but will find another hotel until they do some fixing up.

The rooms and the whole place was dirty. Overflowing trash cans, trash in the hallways the carpets didn't look vaccummed at all. The fridge in our room was dirty and we had to clean ot before we used it. The hot tubs water looked brown and smelled like urine. I realized it's an older hotel but they could at least clean it. I wanted to leave and stay somewhere else.But since I booked through expedia and prepaid, I couldn't get a refund. We left today early anyway. I wouldn't stay there again. It could be a really nice hotel if they would put some money into some renovation, or at least into staff that actually clean.

No outlets to charge celll phones

Easy motorcycle parking. Close to good restaurants.

AC in room not working. Informed staff and was told it would be looked at. Never heard anything after that and AC still didnt work. Door to get into room was sticky. Could hear it unlock and got a green light but when handle turned, the door wouldnt open. Pool are wasnt cleaned at all on Sunday. Empty beer cans and other trash out all day. Hot tub looked dirty with cloudy/ murky water. Overall would look elsewhere if I ever stayed in Dickinson again.

Outdated rooms , super loud Ac . But overall is okay for 1 night stay.

It was fine

This was definitely a unique and beautiful place to stay. I'm a truck driver and I stay at a different hotel every night. This was one of the best. Very clean, water pressure in shower was great, and a break breakfast too. Weather you are traveling alone or with a family, wonderful place to stay.

The pool smelled like mildew

Very dated property. Broken fixtures in the bathroom, lackluster linen and musty rooms.

Staff were very helpful

The office chair looked like it was picked up from a junkyard, and honestly most of the furniture matched that vibe. Even the carpet in the main hallways was coming up and duct‑taped to the floor. The bathroom fan didn’t work. Our room keys stopped working constantly, even though we kept them in a separate pocket and nowhere near our phones. Breakfast was so gross that we didn’t eat it a single morning we were there. The bar soap and shampoo were awful — we had to run to the store for allergy medicine, eye drops, and our own shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. To top it off, there was a beetle crawling on the floor. What makes it even worse is how overpriced this place was. I normally stay at Hilton or Marriott chains because I know what I’m getting, but everything was booked & we didn’t have many options. After this experience, I will never again stray from the hotels I trust. This place needs a full renovation, deep cleaning, and new management. I would never stay here again.

Looks like the room given to us was not used in a while, a lot of dust on the AC, Table and other areas. The Wall Paper was off from the wall. But our stay was good, comfortable beds, good bathroom space. Wish the amenities were provided better. But we had our own soap etc , so not an issue. OVerall we loved the place. Its close to so many restaurants and staff were very help ful. The place has a pool, please pack your shorts or swim gear. Its very well maintained as well. The place had a gym as well. Since we stayed for one night and mostly wanted it for sleep, we did not use. I would recommend this place for a friend,

Room was clean, bed was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly.

Room was clean, was adjoining pool so I wish I could have requested otherwise but only staying one night so it didn’t become an issue. Some items in room need maintenance like the bath fan was not working. Inexpensive clean place to stay for a night.

I stay there as I love my dogs too much to leave them. My boy Clyde loved the room.
