Dodge House Hotel & Convention Center

Arrived at 2:45 waited 30 mins no counter help. Left came back 2 hours later. Hotel had a musty odor, probably from inside pool, and the room carried that scent. Other than the pool no amenities, Not even ice. Restaurant was closed, no breakfast.

We only stayed one night. Everything and everyone was very nice.

The staff was very friendly, we were on a motorcycle, it was storming and they let us park our motorcycle under the canopy on the sidewalk out of the storm. Everything was very clean, the hotel is older, it had a neat nostalgia to it. They could replace the beds, they are starting to show some ware, it would also be nice if they can get their restaurant opened back up.

The staff was friendly and all the pictures and antiques were fun to look at. It is a very old hotel and shows its age. The bed was comfortable though and the room was clean. The restaurant and bar are no longer open which was disappointing since that is part of the reason for the booking. After traveling 8 hrs I was expecting to freshen up and walk down the hall for dinner.

The old west feel was great The smell of cigarette smoke…the run down feel of the hotel…

the DOME is amazing. Loved the dorm room size refrigerator. The only negative is the old furnishings and the very dark old carpet. The other motels i stayed at on this long road trip had no carpet.

This hotel is in need of a serious renovation. That said, it is a Gem in many ways. It has more character than just about any hotel I have ever seen. An investor could restore this hotel to its former glory!

Nothing After checking in, our room was double booked and another couple walked in on us in our room. The mattress was 4 inches thick, the floors were dirty. The hallways did not have AC. It was not worth $140

Absolutely horrible!! Where to start, Nobody at the front desk when we arrived, I talked to another guest who was staying and was told he went to check on a room but had not returned for about 20 minutes. Finally checked in and the room was down a hall that smelled so bad. Got to our room and it seemed nice at first but then you start looking. Black mold looking stuff on the walls above the air conditioner. Air conditioner did work wonderful. Left for our evening activities came back and could not get our key cards to unlock our door. Had to go to the front desk on the other side of the hotel for the lady to scan the card back in and was told that they are from the 1970's and that they do that occasionally. Had to do it another time the next morning as well. The atrium was so hot that you couldn't enjoy it and the pool looked a little green for my likings. The lady at the front desk was friendly and apologized for the inconvenience of the key not working. Will not stay again.

Location Gave us the wrong room. Gave us a key to a room someone was in and we walked in on them using the toilet. Got 1 bed instead of 2. Had to fix the toilet in the middle of the night. Management was rude and didn't want to fix the problems.

The electrical outlets did not work in the sink/mirror area and the outlet by the microwave was so loose, our styling brush would not stay plugged in. The toilet was also very dirty. However the air conditioner did work. Not somewhere I would ever recommend or stay again.
