The second room was somewhat better — it didn't smell as bad, but it was still dirty. The floors were grimy, and the linens still had other people's hair on them. I didn't have high expectations for this place, but I was still thoroughly disappointed. The beds were uncomfortable, the pillows were terrible, and even though this room was an improvement over the first, it still had a strange smell — honestly, the entire hotel smelled off. I was glad I'd brought my own kitchen tools, because the kitchenette had nothing but a refrigerator, a sink, and a hot-plate-style cooktop. The staff were friendly, and I didn't ask for any remediation since I was too busy during the stay. But I never felt comfortable in my room and couldn't wait to check out. I'm honestly surprised at how highly rated this place is on this app.

This hotel is reasonably priced. Great place without having to spend a fortune. I will definitely recommend WoodSpring Suites, and look to stay there next year when I take my trip.

Property is newer, first impression was great! Check-in was slow, no one was at the counter at 3pm when check-in begins. They charge $25 for an earlier check-in so everyone waited in the lobby till 3pm but then no one showed up for almost 15 min to check guests in. Our room smelled completely of cat urine. Front desk was informed and she said she knew it smelled and had sprayed the room hoping it would clear up but it had not. She handed me a spray and told me to spray the room again. The spray didn’t help at all. The room smelled so bad but they didn’t have any other rooms to move us to. This was my first time staying at WoodSpring and will not return to this property. All my clean clothes smelled of the urine that was lingering in the room. I was in town for a work project and needed a place to stay for 2 weeks and was a bad decision to stay. The property itself was well maintained.

The room smelled strongly of bleach. The AC unit made a terrible noise on and off. The pillows were beyond awful.

The bed was horrible. The box springs were broken and wouldn’t stay in the frame. I had to pull the mattress onto the floor in order to be able to sleep. The frame was a cheap bolt together Amazon special that creaked and snapped every time you move. It was also maybe 18 inches from the floor to the top of the mattress while the bed was intact. There is a kitchenette in the room, but you had to buy anything for it. On the plus side if you bought the coffee maker it was yours to keep. Not an amenity I was expecting, but nice if that is why you are booking here. They seem to cater to people living there as opposed to booking a night so if that is what you’re looking for it’s not terrible I guess.

The hotel is clean and well maintained. The rooms has a table, chair, cooker top, microwave and fridge. There is a laundry that you can use. The hotel is geared towards long stay guests so there is no breakfast or daily cleaning. the rooms are better priced than those downtown, particularly if there is an event in the city centre. The hotel is about 1.2 mile walk from the nearest train station and it is 1 hour on the train to get to the city centre so you need to plan accordingly.

Parking was easy. Check-in was a hassle — I arrived 20 minutes early (I had a work call starting right at 3 p.m.) and they wouldn't even give me the Wi-Fi password before then, so I had to pay $25 to check in. At night, there were multiple centipedes on the floor.

Close to high way Good parking This property along with many recently has changed. Minimal toilet paper, minimal towels, no toiletries, minimal hours of front desk

This was my first time at this hotel and the minute I got there, I was told my reservation was canceled and given to someone else!!! After the lady called to confirm my booking, she then lied to me and cancelled my reservation instead. The front desk guy could care less and said that there’s nothing he could do. This instantly sabotaged my entire day…I then had to settle for a shitty hotel that was far from everything.
