this is a great location to stay at room was clean and bed was very comfortable very inviting lobby with bar and food to dine in no need to leave the hotel but if you have to its a Walmart close by to pick up your everyday needs the only thing I did not like there was no microwave in the room but they do have a refrigerator..and the view I liked that but over great place to stay

Two of the three elevators were out of order, and the only working elevator was very slow and scary. The fire department was there when we returned from our event at 9 PM and we were not allowed to use the elevators to the 11th floor until they were finished with what they were doing (?). I am not sure what the problem was, but the entire hotel smelled like marijuana, including the elevators. Our room was nice, although one light didn’t work and we only got one regular coffee pod for 2 people. The ice machine was also out of order. We have stayed here many times in the past and it seems to be declining and in need of maintenance.

The property looks pretty from the outside. There is a lot of empty space with chairs and tables when you walk in. The bar area was nice. My whole issue was how unclean my room was. There were hair balls under the vanity, mold in the bathroom with a terrible smell. The bathtub was peeling and it was not draining well. The rug was like a wave that you could trip on. The blanket on the bed was extremely old and rough. The linens on the bed did not match. There were fingerprints on the desk and tv. It was NOT clean at all. If you do plan to stay ask for a non-facing highway room. It was noisy. I would not stay here again but the staff was nice but not overly friendly.

Appeared neglected, including adjacent lands, but excellent location.

The hotel is well-located, about a 40-minute drive from Chicago. It’s in a safe area and offers free parking. The staff is friendly, but the bedroom cleanliness could be improved. The carpet in the corners was a bit dirty, the bathroom shower was dirty, and there was even a used towel on top of the shower. On the positive side, there’s free coffee in the lobby.

This was not a good experience for a hotel that allegedly had a good reputation. My room was tiny and had several issues: toilet did not flush, hair dryer started to smoke, handicapped shower floor was very slick when wet with no mat, housekeeping was less than stellar. And it was noisy as hell at 1:30 in the morning. And there was only one functional elevator for a fully occupied hotel. I will never go back there again. Not a good experience.

Only 1 elevator worked during our entire stay. One of our party's bathroom overflowed while we were out, when we returned that night and reported the issue no maintenance was available after 10pm and there were no other rooms available forcing them to find another hotel. It rained while we were there and the roof leaked and buckets was placed to catch the rain. Ice machine didn't work and we had to go to the 11th floor to get ice. WE WILL NEVER NEVER NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!

It needs to be updated

The couch had a tear. Elevators were not working we had to use rhe service elevator. Things were in general run down

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room I stayed in, I had to let the hot water in the tub run for awhile for it to get hot. No guide on the TV to find something to watch or see the channels. The plugs in the lamps didn't work to charge my phone. Also, there was an elevator down which took the only working elevator forever. Have the time we were using the stairs from the 8th floor. That was very inconvenient and the ATM was out of service as well.

Ok, nothing special.

Lobby bar is well stocked, and staff was kind and very good at their job. We had two meals in a Conference Room and Andy is a Rock Star! and the food was great.

The hotel has 3 guest elevators. 2 of them were broken. Conversations with staff (who were clearly frustrated by the broken elevators) indicated they had be broken for some time. (There was a sign pointing guests to the service elevator.) Given that the hotel appeared to be full, this made check-in and check-out challenging... The lobby men's room had a broken urinal. Large plastic bag over it. Not a nice touch. Room didn't have a "do not disturb" card to hang on door. I mentioned this and one appeared on door next morning. As a result room was not cleaned that day. Clearly a miscommunication, but having a card available when we checked in would have prevented this.

Nice but room smelled of smoke

I have never experienced like this in my entire life dirtiest hotel I book 4 nights never been cleaned my room whatsoever I even speak to manager promise me they will clean never happen when you booking hotel from online pictures look good but inside old and dirty elevator out of service oh my money

Major things were happening in the room in the worst way. Strands of hair on the bed under the pillow. Sink faucet with toothpaste residue, shower faucet with residue as it was not disinfected or wiped down at all. Black strands of hair in a straight texture ( I have curly texture and my partner had pink hair). Reaching front desk from the room was difficult and front desk always full. We chose our battles and loss again when we woke to find our bedding had not been changed when noticing makeup on the sheets near the feet as if they were simply flipped around from the head area. I was sorely disappointed and I alerted the staff immediately after at the front desk. I was met with reciprocal grotesque feelings and apologies on the situation but nothing was done further. Breakfast and staff were great. The room was my personal nightmare

The ice machine on our floor (11) was not working and our AC stopped working in the middle of the night and it was 75 in our room. On top of all of this, 2/3 elevators were out of order, forcing guests to use a less than ideal service elevator. Wouldn’t recommend.

needs major upgrades especially in the bathroom
-
Didnt use it.

Overall pleasant trip. Half of Elevators weren’t working so it was quite a wait to get to the 12th floor.
