Reviews
-
It was a good place to stay. The breakfast was delicious.
-
The room size and room cleanliness was good, accessibility is limited since there are no elevators but the front desk was kind enough to assign a room on the same level as the entrance. The breakfast area is way too small for the amount of guests. Lines to get breakfast were long and the room got too crowded.
-
The shower curtain was dirty inside and should be replaced. The toilet seat was loose and needed to be repaired. Otherwise everything else was very clean and well maintained. It also would be nice not to have to haul your suitcase down the stairs to get to the lower level rooms. A ramp would be helpful.

Every other thing was okay except

The breakfast was terrible—nobody even brought anything out. Everything was stale; there was hardly anything to eat—just some old bread and nothing but waffles. Nothing else. For the price, it really should have been better. The staff treated guests poorly. I absolutely do not recommend
-
Not a good breakfast and very small seating
-
The kids had a great time in the pool. Would stay there again.

staff worked hard

Clean but a little dated.
-

Pool was NOT heated.

First things first the property entrance was hidden because of over grown grass all the way back to check in area. Once I entered the building there was a strong stench coming thru like sewer masking with chlorine. I got to my room and made a beeline back to front desk that this place was unacceptable, not what the internet showed. The room literally smelled like pee , dusty, dark and dirty. It appeared like a high end crack house . Was told there was no house keeping..I was refused my money back and was told there was nothing that can be done.Wyndham this place should be locked down for a full rehab.Check in on the Management as they don’t seem fazed by the deplorable conditions. This cannot be normal. Me and my kids had to scramble to find alternate last minute lodging at an additional cost and almost missed our event. I pray this review save others from making a costly mistake from deceitful images on internet. This is a dump of an establishment. Feel free to contact me. Wyndham Baymont Inn , Proctor Duluth is not a place to be whether going by yourself or with Family. I let my own Family down by trying to surprise them . This place is a SCAM!!!!!

Nice staff. Good stay.

The room and property were clean. The breakfast was ok. I wish we would have known though that there is no elevator, as we would have likely chosen to stay somewhere else. We needed to bring large rolling luggage down a long flight of exterior stairs and up a long flight of interior stairs to get to our room (the hotel was built on a hill). My family reported that the pool was ice cold and they can typically handle a chilly pool; this was an important feature for us so was disappointing. If you're traveling very lightly and don't care about the pool, it would probably be a fine place to stay, but it wasn't a good fit for us.
-
The pool heater was broke rendering the pool unusable. The WiFi doesn’t work when they booked to capacity. This was extremely upsetting as my son’s diabetic equipment didn’t work properly. There was still trash in our hotel room, and bugs in our bathroom
-
The premises were dated but had been facelifted and were clean. No elevator and entrance was down a flight of stairs from the parking lot. But a pleasant enough stay.
-
The room was clean enough. The bathroom was small. The hallways and stairs could have been cleaner. It looked like people were squatting in their cars in the parking lot.
-
Pool was ice cold, everything else was ok, not the best but you get what you paid for. We wiped the room down with disinfectant wipes and they were filthy afterwards. Rooms should be better maintained. The door had swollen making it very hard to close to the bathroom and ceiling was drooping over the shower.
