Baymont by Wyndham Duluth/Spirit Mountain

Even though the rooms seemingly were remodeled recently, it looks as if they do not do a very good job cleaning in between.

Good property. Carpets in the room could use a cleaning as they were a bit sticky

Friendly people and good breakfast

The pool was not heated as stated in their description. It was colder than cold. The breakfast was frozen gas station breakfast sandwich that we have to microwave and there was a sign saying only one per hotel guest. What a joke. The staffs were doing their job. The hotel room we were in was slanted downwards to one side.

The swimming pool itself was nice, but the heater was broken during our stay, so the water was much colder than expected. It was disappointing because we were looking forward to using the pool comfortably. I hope the issue is repaired soon so future guests can fully enjoy the amenities.

There was also dirt in the corners of the bathroom, and a large sticky spot in the carpet between the beds. The staff was fine, but gave me the cold shoulder after requesting the sheets to be changed. It was ok for the one night stay we needed, but should we find ourselves in Duluth again- we will stay far away from this property.

Overall the stay at as good, wish they offered a little more for breakfast though. Also housekeeper just walked into our room before we even checked out, check out time was 11 and she just came walking in shortly after 10am. Did not even knock

My one disappointment was their fitness hours. Apparently it didn't open until 8:30am, which is way too late for people who plan on leaving early.

We stayed there from June 26-28 for a baseball tournament and it was very disappointing, to say the least. For starters the price of $280 US per night is outrageous, especially with a serious lack of basics!! The staff at the desk notified us that there would be no turn over service for towels, beds or garbage due to being short staffed and we could just leave things outside the door or come and get towels from the front desk. Next, they said the pool heater was broken and the pool would be cold but they didn’t mention that it was also dirty!! Then we had ordered a cot, at check in they let us know they don’t have them anymore and gave us an air mattress. This would have been a fine option if they held air, our son woke up in the middle of the night, flat on the floor and had to climb in with us, not ideal for a teenage boy. They gave us a replacement and that air mattress was absolutely no better. The hotel is very dated, the 2nd floor smells like fish and most of the showers are good for people 5ft and under. The only decent thing about the hotel was the continental breakfast. I would recommend this place to nobody!!

Would not recommend, wifi was not working, pool heater was broken so it was ice cold, paper thin floor / ceiling, could hear foot steps and jumping in the unit above us. Older building. For the cost per night we should have stayed elsewhere.

The plus side was the continental breakfast was good and beds were comfortable. But we were overall unsatisfied and will likely look at other hotels for our next Duluth stay.

Small but clean room. Place is ok

We had a car accident Thursday night. Our car has to be repaired and we had to wait for a family member to pick us up. 0We were told by front desk personnel we could have the room until 1:00 at no extra cost. Wonderful 👏 👏!!

The motel is not handicapped accessible as it was grandfathered in when the company was bought out. The toilets in the room are extremely low with no handles for assistance. Lots of stairs to get to registration. No elevator. Dark hallways. You can hear the highway noise very clearly.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast had a variety of items. There was stuff on the floor in our room behind the chair and by the toilet. It needs a better vacuum job.

I really liked that we had a balcony. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was pleasant. The hotel was hard to find, the driveway not marked well. It was clean. Price was right. Driveway not marked well. The pool was freezing cold. Could not use. No picnic table or bench to sit on outside.
