We appreciate every one of the team members. I would like to point out that Abby is awesome at multitasking. Each time I had a question, she was doing other things, and I didn't mind waiting. She was totally awesome! She told us Hugo's was a great place that delivers. She was right, and the pizza was awesome! We were on the go a lot. CANAL Park, North Shore day adventure. We did grab some water from the Lucky 7. I forgot my water bottle at home. (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) That was convenient to have. Also, having Circle K across the highway was great. They accept our upside gas saving app. That we didn't stay longer.

The gym doesn't open until 8:30 am. I wanted to use it prior to driving for the day.

The room had mouse poop on the bed, then we switched rooms and there was a broken door that didn't quite shut right. The pool was dirty. The staff was very helpful and accommodating though and they did refund our stay, so that part was great. Just not a clean and well kept up property.

Law enforcement was present on the hotel’s property when we arrived. This was a concern, however the hotel staff did a very good job of reassuring guests that the situation was being addressed & there were no further concerns

Room was better, but big downfall was we were given a room next to an outside door which kept my wife up most of the night -- like the rest of the property it was old and so made lots of noise EVERY time it was used. Breakfast was OK, Room is far too small to accommodate the morning rush. Location is nice, away from the main city, but not far away at all.

Everything was good

No gym. Breakfast first day had almost nothing by 9 am. Pool area needs to be repainted.

It's located right off the freeway just south west of Duluth. Because it's very close to the freeway, the sliding glass door in our room was old. The road noise is barely bearable. The included breakfast was out of bread, pancake batter, sausage. By the time they restocked food, we had already had a mini muffin & juice. Not what I expected for an included breakfast. There wasn't any yogurt or protein at all. The sliding glass door in our room, facing the freeway, was old & the road noise was unacceptable! Not a great stay at all!

Eveeything at breakfast was empty and they keep using the covid era tired excuse of 'understaffed', rather tgan leaving the desk to restock. Its getting old. Especially when you raised the rates from the usual $180 to $250 for the weekend. If you want to charge like a luxary hotel the least you can do is have breakfast orepped and the area cleaned. Not claim, 'understaffed'. Rediculous for the price jump. Next time we will be sraying across the street where the price matcges the sevice
