The service was great and our room was amazing! It had plenty of amenities, a back deck area, fire pit, and space to grill. We had an amazing stay and plan to keep coming back in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good place to stay and relax.

A quaint old motel. Room was small as expected in an old property. But newer furnishings and comfortable bed. Nice deck with seating out the back door of the room. Perfect for eating our dinner and enjoying a beer. There were fire pits available but we did not use one. There was a nice walking trail just behind the property and we were able to walk to a nearby waterfall.

It was like a little cabin in the woods. great get away for peace and quiet.

Close to the bike trail! The room was nice and everything was clean except the floor felt a little sticky in places.

I am comfortble in th West End of Duluth, so this is a good/economical place to stay. However, it was better before Covid, when they provided breakfast.

Room was clean when we walked in, the staff was just as friendly as before when we stayed there the first time, the owner personally came up and talked to us and that’s something that you don’t get to have that often at some hotels, perfect view of the northern lights the first night too. The best part is that we didn’t have to worry about taking a Lyft everywhere, we got to take the bus. Definitely going to be staying here again, there’s so much stuff to do in area.

Wonderful! Roomy, quiet, comfy, decent bar of soap, even a towel bar in bathroom! Love this place. Have stayed here about every other year for 15 years. Will continue to do so. Owner obviously treats his customers like he would like to be treated.

Very clean room and reasonably priced. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly. Location was perfect for access to hiking. Overall a very good experience.
