After a long day of moving we stayed and the mattress and bed were soooo comfortable. A good nights sleep.

Overall was a nice room, clean, and comfortable. We had a lot of rain that weekend and the room we were in seemed a bit moist. Unsure if was the excessive rain or a normal thing for that room.

I liked that the hotel was in a secluded area. They have bed bugs and when notified of the infestation they weren't quick to fix the situation.

The location was nice. When we arrived that night at 1 am following a concert we had attended and the massive amount of traffic we had sat in, only to hear they had canceled our reservation stating it was “bookings” fault due to our CC. We had a “pay at facility” stay; but they ran the card on file which we knew did not have enough room on it for the “unexpected” hotel stay charge that they tried to run. Had we been told or notified we would have switched cards. Long story short, We ended up having to drive home due to all hotels being booked out as far north as Charolette NC. This was a disaster. The clerk was rude as he tried to charge us triple the original reservation fee for what would then be a 10 hr stay. Disappointment and exhaustion was our walk away from this reservation.

Everything. I booked a non smoking room and the room smelled like smoke. The staff showed me other rooms but they all smelled like smoke until the third room didn’t. Google and the baymont website showed there is a pool on site but it was covered in concrete. Bathrooms were stained yellow and had no ventilation. Room doors had opening at the bottom so even if the door was closed bugs or smoke smell would come in. Breakfast was not great. Overall I would not recommend staying here if you have children with you or if you have asthma or health conditions.
