I messaged the hotel no luck. In the morning I talked to the very nice lady at the front desk who informed me the manager told her other peoples actions are not his problem. I let her know our room smelled heavily of pot and we had to turn our ac off to keep it from blowing the smoke in and she informed me that other people complained too but their manager told them it’s not his problem. The front desk staff said they were aware they had issues but said since management didn’t gate to address them we should turn in reports and call the police. This hotel wasn’t just a bad night sleep for us it was a huge safety concern so we are filing a police safety report and a report with the housing and licensing about the hotels policy to not interfere with other people’s actions.

First impression of the outside was not bad but that ended when I entered the office. It was poorly lit with furniture that was dated 20 years ago. We were assigned a room on the first floor. Entering the room I noticed the sparce furniture in the room looked old and saggy. I sat on the bed and found it very squeaky. Two people laying in the bed was difficult as there was a severe dip in the middle. I continuously migrated into my wife during the evening. The bathroom was clean but the area had not been remodeled in several decades. It looked worn. The good news was there were no bugs and although it looked old it was clean. It was barely adequate for one night but I would highly advise to choose a different budget hotel.

Nothing. I made a reservation and it was allowed. I got there at 11:33 and there was no way to get into a room. We had to leave and drive an hour away to rent a different hotel. Really sucked! Paid for a room I couldn’t get into.

Price and cleaness Beds and pillows a little uncomfortable.

The property is small and convenient to Durango. Plenty of stores and restaurants in the area. The hot tub is right on the road without privacy. Room was very clean and cute. Small but nice. Bed has a dip on the middle. As many people write the elderly lady is rude and dismissive. James who is the evening clerk is very pleasant.
