Awesome stay

Clean room, very friendly staff, and great price, especially for the holiday rate. I would consider this hotel since it was in a good location where it's not too congested and eatery near by.

That’s the low-down on my experience. Like I said, I’d try again, because there is a lot to like. The boundary is WAY better than any of the motels on the main strip, but not as good and costs the same as the nice hotels.

All camp sites were booked out so we found this little gem. Would recommend as it is newly renovated and the host was super nice and hopeful. Allllllot nicer than motels/hotels/hostels nearby and nearly the same price. Bonus little outside fire pit!

This hotel was even better than I expected. Everything was very clean and I loved the unique touches. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfortable too.

Big spacious rooms. Free parking. Not in walking distance to downtown but easy drive to it

Loved the fresh new concept! Loved everything about this property, wish there were more locations!

Robert was very helpful in checking us in. Parking was great and right near our room. The room was very clean as well as the bathroom with a walk-in shower. Liked the location with nearby restaurants. Would definitely stay here again if ever back in Durango.

Beds and pillows were excellent as was water pressure in shower No noise from neighbouring rooms Would definitely stay again

Very clean modern comfortable room with friendly helpful staff.

I cannot say I’m not how amazing this person was from the friendly staff that went over and beyond and felt like family. She’s a simplicity in the room and we book this again 100 times over.

Our only difficulty were the guests above us making a lot of noise going back a forth on the floor for about an hour while we were trying to go to sleep. We did not complain to management.

From the moment I arrived until the morning I departed, my stay was flawless. The bed was really comfy, shower was spacious, and the room as a whole was clean. It felt brand new. The front desk staff were super helpful and had great customer service. Hardly any noise. I am already excited and planning my next trip and will definitely use The Boundary.

Great place quite and modern design that view from the window was disappointing but highly recommend relaxing spot door dash and chill spot

Clean facilities and friendly staff

The updated decor and amenities. The lobby had lots of cute things and snacks for sale. Location was easy to find. The water pressure and shower were amazing! Had I known it was actually a motel, I would not have booked the room. The noise from the street and others in different rooms was so much louder compared to a hotel setting. We were on the 2nd floor and since there was no elevator, it made it difficult to carry everything up for the night.

Very good, only draw back is a firm mattress - but that is personal preference.
-
Super clean room, great staff at check-in & check-out. Nice little coffee bar for our early departure.
-
Tons of storage space, nice parking, everything appears modern and recently updated. The floor in our room was absolutely covered in hair. I don’t know if the previous people had a dog or something but it was everywhere.

The positives: It's conveniently located on the northern part of the main drag it's easy to reach. It's located only a couple of blocks from a City Market grocery store - completely walkable. It's also pretty close to the Animas River trail, so we were able to access it without needing our vehicle. The renovation is pretty well done and the room was fairly large, comfortable and clean. The front desk staff was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The not-so-positives: We stayed there for 4 nights and I had to ask how often the rooms were serviced - I was told every 3 days and I mentioned that we needed the trash collected after the first day. They did come in and collected the trash and gave us some more towels, but they never returned after that, so the room was never actually serviced during our stay. Another slight negative was that, even though it mentioned a coffeemaker in the room, it was really an electric kettle to heat water and they provided instant coffee - for me, that's not "real" coffee. Of course you can get drip coffee or espresso drinks in the check-in office, but it's not complimentary and it ended up adding $10+ each day. The property doesn't have any elevators (I knew this when booking), so just be aware that, unless you specifically book a room on the ground floor, you'll be lugging your things up/down some stairs.
