It's a charming place, cute rooms, great Durango Company Coffee in the rooms with a pour over setup.

Such a cool place! It felt very family oriented and fun!

Cute well maintained property. The owner obviously has a good sense of humor by the signs in the room and messages on the street marquee. The roadside neon sign is one of the coolest neons I've ever seen. Highly recommend

Clean room, amazing spot for the price!

I like the unique aesthetic of the motel very pretty. Staff were very friendly and it was nice parking was literally next to where the room was . Checking out wasn’t a big deal very simple. Definitely would book at this motel again.

Property was in excellent condition and onsite management was fantastic!

A nicely renovated 1950s style roadside motel, just north of downtown. The room was in excellent condition, the staff were helpful, and the in-room pourover coffee gave the best cup I’ve had in years from a reasonably priced hotel.

I want it to be known this is not a bad review. I will say this is a dog friendly motel and you unfortunately can smell it. The remodel and upgrades are cute however the shower is small in size as is, so since the shower head is not fully adjustable, this did make for an uncomfortable shower. Oh and FYI they don’t have an iron in each room. I think they may offer one in their communal amenities closet. Not sure, but just something to note if you stay there.

Clean room, friendly staff. Basic room but it’s everything you need. Very comfortable bed.

We were in town for a lot of outdoor adventures with our dog, so this was a wonderful choice for us. They are dog-friendly, as is the entire town. The rooms are updated and cute with a fun modern boho redone motel feel. It feels new and old at the same time and is very charming. This is very much more of a DIY hotel experience, though; there are not a lot of cleaning services because its unnessary, which I appreciate and is more environmentally friendly. They're happy to accommodate you; just know that you have to ask. You are on the north end of town, so there aren't as many shops and restaurants right there, but nothing is far away; it is perfect for getting out of town for outdoor adventures. Overall, it was a perfect experience for us and our dog to spend time in the town I grew up in while having a nice spot of our own to return to.

It was clean and manager was nice. Its an old motel thats been fixed up nice enough. Its just not what I waa expecting for the money. Room was clean but tiny with cement floors.

In 21st century travel, independently owned motels like the Siesta are the ideal mode of accommodation. Uniquely detailed, highly personable, impeccably clean and thoughtfully laid out, the Siesta Motel complements the travel of all deliberate wanderers.

The Siesta motel was wonderful! Everything in the room was spotless and comfortable, and the quality of the amenities offered was very high. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice everything was. The friendly relaxed atmosphere of the staff contributes to the very excellent vibe this place offers. The bed was good, the linens were great, and the room was big enough without being too big. The outdoor sitting area was delightful. Can’t praise it highly enough.

- The bed has a heavy metal frame with sharp edges and corners that stick out past the edge of the mattress. Easy to bump into it when walking around in the room, leading to bruised legs. - Could not get the TV to work properly. - The on-site restaurant no longer serves any type of alcohol, despite the website saying it does.

April and staff at the Siesta Motel are super helpful and welcoming. Such a great little motel with many amenities to make your stay very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here. So cute with great energy!

What a great hotel!! It's a throwback to old roadside motels but modernized. Excellent service - the hosts text you and will help with anything you need. Little kitchenette with pour over coffee provided and clean room and bathroom. Only issue is a small parking lot with narrow parking spaces, but overall an excellent place to explore Durango. They're right on the shuttle/trolley line with free rides to downtown. Highly recommend!
