Baymont by Wyndham Durango

I booked the property online. I was thinking because it was a Wyndham property it would be a decent property. The property was run down and room wasn't much better. The bathroom had broken and missing floor tiles. The bathroom door would not such properly. The closest door was missing. The wall paint and texture left a lot to be desired,

seemed a little dirty, floors needed cleaned, bed was terrible, hard not comfortable.

Water would not get hot. Addressed it with the front desk and they advised to let it run for 10 minutes. It needs to be a better system in place. On top of that think of the water that's wasted.

Dirty floors, tub, and shower Dust/grime on surfaces Mildew and dirty caulking, large cracks Bugs (earwigs +) An open pipe with no cap A hole in the wall left unpatched - dusty, so not new Space open under exterior doors to the rooms Non-functional thermostats No window screens Stained furniture and bedding , When we complained to the front desk, we were given a slightly better, still dirty room We were told that since the reservation was through a booking company they couldn't discount or refund us. Don't waste your money or ruin your trip by staying here.

Everything things was really good

The room was spacious and the bed was fine. The room was dated. There was mold on the walls and a part was falling in, and it needs painted. Everything was acceptable for the price. You can tell they do the minimum because of the price and location. It was quiet and we slept well. Breakfast again was minimum. They had waffles, but we're out of potatoes and milk. No one was working the breakfast area, the front desk guy had to check on it. Again, minimum effort. Again, clean and comfortable to stay, but 3 is all I give them.

This is the second time we’ve come that the hot tub wasn’t working, and it’s part of the reason we choose this property. Aside from that, the pool was a nice temp, the property has been updated since we were there last, the staff are friendly and helpful, it’s quiet aside from the road traffic (which can’t be helped), and it’s pretty clean and well kept.

This hotel was such a letdown that it genuinely made me question whether Durango was worth visiting. The room felt neglected, outdated, and depressing — nothing like the photos or the description. It was so bad I checked out and moved to another hotel just to salvage the trip.

Pool was there but no one could use it. I rented the room because of the pool. Thwy should announce no pool when booking

The location of the hotel was excellent for easy access to Bear Ranch , the Durango Hot Springs, Honeyville & the Durango Silverton train. There was a grocery store across the street from the hotel to buy food and cut cost from restaurants. The property was easy to find and nice. I really appreciated the price I paid for my room that came with a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The cable tv was great as well as the WiFi Which I used.

Corner room has terrible parking.

The stay was great the $500 hundred a night was a bit much for one night .wont do that again.

Seemed like a good location Room was dirty, run down, television remote held together with dirty tape. Booked for 4 nights on booking.com prepaid, left after one, management still dodging any refund for three nights.

From my experience, there was not much to like about this property. The reservation was for an upgraded King suite that hardly met the name other than being slightly larger than a standard king room. Towels were lacking, the hot water was lukewarm at times, and even something as simple as having a mirror over the bathroom sink was nonexistent. Aside from that, the hot tub was out of service.

Hotel very run down. Not very clean most things where out service not able to use amineties. It's not place I would recommend anyone to stay at. Costly for filthy run down hotel.

The floors were dirty. There were patched walls and dirty doors.
