The Junction Hotel and Hostel

Hotel is old and a little rough, but clean. The bed was a bit worn out but comfortable enough if you're tired. No fridge, no breakfast, no coffee, no ice machine. If you ask for ice you are allowed to go into the owner's kitchen with a very small bowl to retrieve some for yourself. They do not honor requests. We had requested downstairs due to my wife's health. We were assigned upstairs. When I protested, I was told they were full and could not honor the request. I had to remind them that the request was made over a month ago and that upstairs would simply be impossible. They then decided they could swap it with a downstairs reservation.

This will be the last place I stay in my next Durango visit. The location was convient.

Check-in was a breeze and the room was clean.

Dirty room, stained towels, noisy, unaccommodating staff.

The lobby floor was very dirty upon coming in to check in. The parking lot was not in very good condition. We stayed in the hotel side and the rooms had mismatched furniture that looked like it had been picked up from the roadside on trash day, one of our rooms didn’t even a place to set suitcases off the floor. Be careful when plugging something in, in both rooms the outlets would fall out of the wall. And what outlets were in working order wouldn’t hold our plugs, they just kept falling out. One of the rooms had very few places to try and charge devices. No ice machines were in working order on the entire property and the desk clerk said we could go around behind her to the fridge and there was a bag of ice in the freezer. There wasn’t. Neither desk clerk we came in contact with was very friendly or helpful. The potty area for the dogs had a lot of trash and what little grass there was needed mowing badly. We were supposed to stay here on our way back home two weeks later but chose to cancel and find another place to stay instead. No elevators to get to the second floor, and the pool looked like it hadn’t been open and for use in quite some time.

Things not so good: if you need good WiFi, it is not good. But there is a coffee shop nearby that was great. If you must have good tv, be prepared to struggle. I don’t need tv so I did fine. Great things, staff was very nice and patient with the new employee and me. Room was very clean. And had everything I needed. Price was great for the area and its location is great. I would stay again.

Mouse poop in the room, super strong disinfectant smell- so bad I had to open window but window was broken, they booked additional people into the room at 12:30am

Location was good and room was like it was pictured on website I stayed 5 nights and requested housekeeping twice. They never came. The pool was closed and the coffee area was not at all like it was pictured. Only one morning was the coffee ready before 9 am. The place seemed very run down.

Cheap and clean. Bring your own soap.

Accessible and friendly staff

Property is not maintained. Pictures are deceiving to the actual state of the rooms. No ice machine was working, probably a permanent situation. We stayed there because it was cheaper... my mistake. I thought it would be better than it was. I will not stay there again. The Durango area is beautiful, our hotel did not match the awsome area and prevented a 100% incredible trip.

Place was plenty clean the television was pretty boring the bed had a weird frame and anomaly of bars sticking out the bottom edge the room was nice and cool when we wanted it to be and warm when we wanted it to be the shower was nice the place could definitely use soundproofing in the walls every little noise of every little neighbor was ridiculous at times but other than that it wasn't a bad place to stay

Our room was so filthy. The towels had stains all over them that were hanging up in the bathroom. The comforter had spots all over it, and there was a dirty sock that my dog grabbed that had hair all over it for years. This property was disgusting.. We had booked it for two not stay and ended up leaving after the first night. They told us that they were gonna give us our money back for the second night and instead charged us for a third night. I’ve called the hotel multiple times and they keep telling me we don’t know nothing about it so now I’ve been charged for 30 night when I only stayed one. I’m very disappointed. I would never stay at this hotel. It is horrible place.

A budget hotel at a budget price. My son and I stayed for 3 nights. it's a simple room with simple amenities, it's a get what you pay for motel. Not great but not theworst. You get what you pay for. Great location, pool was shut down, over all, not the worst

double queen room and bath were very large, has dressers and night stand, AC worked great, bedding was soft and comfortable, Grocery, restaurants, bars near by, walk to the fairgrounds. refrigerator worked great and large, several shelves. table and chair was nice to have. plenty of parking, property slopes down toward the creek from main street, there is flat parking available. staff was helpful.

It was close to everything we needed Beds we're very uncomfortable both websites said pool was open. I even called and they said pool was open. Pool was not open.The rooms were not that clean, hair in bathtub and tub drained very slow.

The property was not renovated like it shows in the pictures and more looked like an outdated motel.

The location is about the only pro I can think of The room reeked of pet odor, there were mystery stains all over the walls, the beds were like laying on bricks, our sheets had some type of cigarette burn. Front desk honestly seemed like they hated their job.
