Hilton Durham near Duke University

Hospitality training needs to be conducted periodically in order to filter out employees who are toxic to the industry along with the integrity and professionalism as the faces of Hilton.

The restaurant was excellent & the breakfast buffet was very good also. The only thing that was a negative was the fact that there was no regular coffee in our room with the kerig & when we requested it at the front desk, they had none. Be prepared to pay for coffee offered at Starbucks, but they do not open until 6:30.

Clean

Could not get the room cool even though I turned thermostat down to 62. Only 2 tv channels were available to watch. Some front desk personnel were rude and argumentative. I always use Hilton, and this is the only bad experience I have ever had.

the staff was very nice when checking in. the only complaint i have is there was no coffee available to guests you had to buy it.

By far the worst customer service I’ve had in a while. I have stayed here multiple times and this time will be my last.

Room was clean and comfortable. I didn’t get around to eating at the restaurant but was told of how good the beef brisket is I would definitely stay here again without any hesitation!

Breakfast was expensive and not good. They charge 8 dollars a night to park in their open parking lot

Beautiful room, very comfortable beds and updates nice and modern.

There were issues that were annoying and frankly surprising for a conference center hotel. 1) the charging port by the bed didn’t work 2) the desk chair was quite heavy with no rollers.., making the chair very hard to move/utilize 3) the $8 charge for our car seemed petty 4) it also seemed strange and inconvenient not to have microwaves in the rooms 5) the AC seemed to disengage at night making the room warm & stuffy 6) there should be a way that the room door could be propped open and the luggage cart could be brought into the room. Inability to do this made it difficult to carry luggage into the room. I can’t imagine how burdensome this is for seniors and/or folks with disabilities.

The staff are excellent and very helpful and pleasant.

Great place. We stayed only couple of nights. The location close to highway and local places.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. Bed is very comfortable.
