La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Raleigh/Durham Southpoint

Let me start off by saying the sweet lady up front was so helpful, she had a long line & she got the job done. She deserves a raise! The property was trash. Smelled. We walked into the room and walked out. The carpet was nasty. I wouldn’t have wanted to take off my shoes. The room was old. White blankets looked yellow. We ended up leaving and going to another hotel. Pool was closed a week previously and it was as green as Shrek’s swap. I’ve never seen anything turn that gross in a week. The parking lot was sketchy as heck. Dark and very scary like.

The whole experience was disgustingly gross,black mold,broken lamps, wallpaper coming apart, homeless people hanging around the property,room cards didn’t work,cigarette burns in curtains,broken chair in room, nasty sheets on the bed, staff didn’t have products for laundry, staff wasn’t helpful at all with directions and questions about the area, staff very unprofessional chewing gum in my face while checking me in….the whole experience was disappointing and will never come back to that dirty hoe’ tell.

Once again, booking through photographs posses a challenge. There has to be a better way.

Breakfast was plain, our microwave didn’t work, I’m almost slipped in the tub and housekeeping never came to the room. But staff were very friendly.

I had an amazing time here at this hotel. It was quiet. The side door did not work for entry but other than that it was great!

This is Horrible property. It’s unsafe for family. There were hardly any cars and a bunch of homeless at the entrance of property. The rooms were horrible with stench of urine. The whole hotel had weird stench that was unbearable We stayed for hardly 15 minutes but they are charging us for whole stay. It seems the management is group of cheaters out to defraud guest Stay away from this hotel. It’s NOT safe for family and very bad. I wish I had read reviews before booking Horrible hotel with unclean rooms. Unsafe for family and really bad smell everywhere
