The hotel and room were excellent! Will definitely stay again and everytime in Eagle Pass... BUT never staying in room 118.. it was right next to the exit door in the back and all night I was woken up by the slam of the door and people passing by.. Other than that its an excellent hotel

This was a clean and comfortable hotel, but not a standout. The ambiance could be greatly improved by changing the light tone of the lobby from its present blue hue LED to a warm tone. With the blue light, it feels sterile. It would also be nice if the hotel staff learned the history of their area. This hotel is adjacent to Fort Duncan which has an interesting history and holds the keys to the Eagle Pass town name. None of the staff knew anything about this! As first time travelers to Eagle Pass, TX this was disappointing.

The new La Quinta by Wyndham is great! The facility is clean, staff are nice. The rooms are nice and comfy. The breakfast buffet was is expected at an hotel; eggs, bacon/sausage, breads and cereal. My only problem is that the walls are super thin and I could hear the guest’s TV’s next door and their whole conversation! Quite annoying at 7 am on a Sunday morning.
