Excellent hotel all around. The lobby and rooms are in great condition - it's surprising that the building is about to undergo renovations in late 2026! The front desk and breakfast staff were great. Location is very quiet and convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable, quiet, very friendly staff, and convenient. We enjoy staying here while visiting MSU. I've stayed here a few times over the years, and the property could use a fresh up at this point.

One word. Waffles. Potholes on the road it’s on, but that is totally out of the hotels control and I don’t fault them at all

Beautiful hotel, clean room, excellent beds and bedding, updated bath and shower. Staff was friendly and helpful. Guests opening outside door from the dining room, and letting cold air inside where people are eating. Very rude.

Mary the front desk agent provided exceptional customer service. She was very attentive to my request. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. We will definitely stay at Residence again soon. Go Green!! There was a bug on my sheets. The bathroom had minor cosmetic issues. The coach had a few noticeable stains on the cushions.

Our room needed to cleaned more throughly. There were smears of food/residue on the furniture. The wall art work was damage (ripped) and needed to be replaced or taken down. The room itself smelled like dogs/pets. There were finger and handprints on the bathroom walls. It just wasn’t throughly cleaned, maybe wiped down at best.
