Days Inn by Wyndham Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta Airport West

Returning from Barbados I had an 11 hour layover in Atlanta. My first call to the hotel I was told the shuttle picks up from international and domestic. I waited at international, no shuttle arrived, after 40 minutes I called again and was told they only pick up in domestic. I then had to wait in a long line to take the 10min shuttle to domestic. At domestic I was told to wait in 3-5, I did. After 2 more calls I finally arrived at the hotel 3 hours after my first call to them. Unacceptable. I opened the room door, a cockroach ran out! The room wreaked of old cigarette smoke. I go to sleep, in the morning I go to take a shower, there are no towels or washcloths! I had no time to mess around waiting so I used some clean clothes from my suitcase to dry off with. The shuttle was to arrive by 6am to pick me up, I arrived 10 mins early like they told me to do, it arrived at 6:25, unacceptable. While waiting the only seating were very stained chairs in the lobby. I took a stack of magazines to cover them so I could get off my bad knee. The only positive things were clean beds and a nice woman at the front desk. I should have spent the extra money to stay somewhere else but the reviews showed 6+ stars so I didn't think for a few hours it would be bad, I was really wrong.

Besides the leak coming from the ceiling from the room above me into my shower in the bathroom and the 2 people cussing each other out EVERY night from 9pm till 5am (I believe the leak is coming from their room) my room is quite comfy and cozy, the bed is the best and having the A/C is super nice. Also Housekeeping and Jazz at the desk are the best!!

I appreciate the A/C unit working very well especially doing this heat wave in Atlanta. The staff is helpful new front desk lady was very accommodating and nice. Yes, I frequent this location often. I can see the improvements here. They are still working on the area in the staff does a really good job was cleaning.

Everything that is supposed to work in my room is functional except for a floor lamp behind the chair but with the 3 wall lights that do work....it's cool. The ladies of Housekeeping are amazing everyday! And Jazz at the desk is wonderful!

the place needs to be renovated , booked a non smoking room was given a smoking room and when I requested to be moved they were ‘conveniently’ booked out of rooms , staff also refused to provide additional towels, sheets and blankets even after I told them the room looked dirty , by far the worst stay I’ve ever had

Everything was fine

My bed is super comfy and the room is clean and very roomy. Everything that should be working works. The staff here is great 👍

The staff is the best! Housekeeping is super nice, helpful and accommodating, if you need anything just ask the ladies!! Tony is great, he can fix anything! But definitely stop by the front desk and say "HI" to Jazz she is the bestest! (Yes I said bestest, you can't get any better than that!!)

Air conditioning was good but the quality of the hotel was poor to me. The staff was good

My room was very clean, the lady at the front desk (I can’t remember her name) she was very helpful and friendly. Also this hotel was fairly priced.

Booked a smoking room by mistake. Management changed my room upon arrival and charged me an extra 10.00. However, the room she switched me to but still smelled awful with cigarettes smoke. Manager was very rude about changing my room again, and wouldn’t refund me. After going back and forth for 10mins without reaching any resolution, I ended up checking out the room, leaving it untouched. This holler is horrible. It’s no where near how the website presents it😡

I would only stay here if it’s the only option and at that put I would still try something else

Definitely in the hood of Atlanta. I had a trip no microwave, saw 2 roaches in my room during my time. I understand people live in hotels but they need to be a little more tidier. Noodles on floor on 2nd floor hall. Needs more lighting in hallway. It was pretty quiet needs a pool

I had a couple of days where my TV did not work but Tony got it working only to not work the next day. Thanks to the Manager of Housekeeping and her quick thinking for bringing another TV to my room. All of housekeeping was great, they keep the hotel as clean as possible. Also the young lady with the glasses was super nice and always helpful.

Was fine for two nights, okay price.

Despite the look and the wear and tear of the building, I have no qualms when it comes to the cleanliness of my room and the rest of the inside of this building. The Housekeeping Staff is very nice and helpful, and they make sure the rooms are up to standards. My TV died for 2 days the 1st time Tony (Mr. Fix It) got it back on but the next day it was out again(which we figured out that it probably would) so I let the Housekeeping Mgr know (seeing how she was present when it happened) so she brought one from another room(that was so nice).Thank you Days Inn staff 🤗

The smells in the hotel need to be taken care of, i don't know if some of the staff is treating it as their own personal home. But it's bad
