GrandStay Residential Suites - Eau Claire

The air conditioner was extremely noisy. I could hear units from 3 other rooms. Breakfast was so-so. Food did not seem to be very fresh.

Have stayed here a couple of times on the way back from Chicago to Canada. Convenient location right off the freeway. The suites have a full kitchenette, rooms are spacious and comfy bed & linens. Great budget stay for a weary traveller!

The staff was very helpful. I wished they would have emptied our waste baskets daily.

We got married this weekend and wanted to have a very nice place to stay. The room was very out dated. The carpet was buckled up and was loose around the edges. The lighting felt like something out of a horror movie making it feel uninviting. The breakfast was very sad with not much of options with undercooked microwaved potatoes and crock pot cooked eggs. When we got into the room my fiance had a adverse reaction to it, I called the front desk to speak to a manager and was hung up on. The jacuzzi was out of order, the room we originally booked did not have a jacuzzi but should have had an oven and did not have one hence why I wanted to speak to a manager to make sure we got the right room. The room was not very well cleaned with mysterious stains on the doors and walls in the bathroom. The TV mounted in the living room is mounted in an old fireplace 8in off the ground which was very off putting. For the price we paid we expected a bit more of a clean and quwaint Not a place that cuts corners and chooses the cheaper way out. If you don't care about anything I said at the end of the day it is a place to sleep, nothing more.

We didn't get the furniture lay out requested as it was chose through the pictures for the lay out for room to play games for a birthday party, the carpet in our room was wet from a portable AC, the pool was always short on towels and pool floor was super slippery and the jets of the hot tub weren't working most of the time, the bed was rock hard. Continental breakfast was decent.

Also when leaving, the desk guy said your all set , no, how was your stay, thank you for staying with us. Also we didn't ask for room cleaning on our 3 day stay, yet someone was in our room and emptied the garbage, and did nothing else. Weird. Also , we had to park in the neighboring parking lot , as the parking lot was full , was worried our car would get towed. No info from the front desk guy about that , just a you ate all set... Not staying there ever again, and would love some of the money I spent there back as I definitely didn't get my moneys worth. No stars . Your hotel is terrhble...

We were very disappointed to find out that the AC must not have been working. There was a temporary portable unit in the living room of the unit. We would not have stayed there if we had known the AC wasn’t working because we had been under an extreme heat warning for the entire week. It was very pricey and not well maintained things were broken and missing. For over $300 a night I expect a better quality hotel.

It’s a decent place to stay especially if you want a separate bedroom. The breakfast was adequate - had some good fresh fruit (watermelon!) on some of the days. The swimming pool and whirlpool were small but also adequate.

Good clean hotel with decent amenities close to food and shopping

The bed was great and the room was clean and the price was fair.

Great find when I needed to stop in Eau Claire. Hotel was close to some dining options and my room was excellent, with a kitchenette and full-sized fridge, definitely keeping this one in the memory bank.

Huge room! Nicely equipped. Good breakfast. Hardwood floors needed a good cleaning and the dishwasher did not work well. Positives outweighed the negatives and I would stay there again.

Was fine, weird room set up for an extended stay hotel, old stained furniture.

Stairwell carpet was the only thing that looked like it could be cleaned or replaced, but there was an elevator also.
