The Oxbow Hotel

This is way over priced for what you get. The room is small the furniture was uncomfortable and very dated. Go to the Staybrigde and get three times to space and amenities for half the money.

Adorable place, super friendly, and really great location. Walkable to bars, food, and shopping, and right on an excellent paved trail for running (or biking). Can't wait to stay again!

Excellent front desk staff, lovely property

This is a hipster boutique hotel. They have done a really nice job with the outside, transforming an old motor lodge into an esthetically pleasing place. It’s a fun place to stay. The rooms are 50´s mod meets dorm room chic. They scrimped on the room details in this boutique lodge…. The white walls are bare and show any imperfections and looks a bit sterile. The wood trim, esp in the bathrooms, looks like the cabinets fell off and they went to the local lumber yard for a piece of wood to cover it. A nice high shine glaze would make quite a difference. I especially didn’t like the dirty bathroom tile floors. As much as was spent on the outside…. You cheaped out on the rooms. Some attention to a better detail would totally turn this place into something memorable

We loved our room -- comfortable bed, extremely clean, great shower. Easy to walk from the hotel to downtown amenities. Staff are helpful and friendly!

The staff get high marks for being incredibly hospitable. I believe our room is the last to be rented out, so I can’t speak for the other rooms. As soon as we walked in it smelled freshly cleaned, which I do appreciate. The room is way overpriced in my opinion as it’s dated, small and dark. Some toiletries were not restocked and there were only two bath towels available. I would suggest asking for another set as one set does not dry in time to be ruses the next day. Door to bathroom does not latch. Decor is a few inexpensive items hung on the wall (not a deal breaker). We did love the location of the hotel and having The Lakely steps away with great entertainment saved our stay. Parking is also convenient.

Big, clean room. In the lobby there is coffee/tea, oatmeal, and more, which was all very appreciated.

Always a great stay and experience

Hotel was exactly as advertised. Staff were super sweet, helpful and professional! Room was comfortable. Great location, walkable downtown. The restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. I had a fun time at the open mic night held in their bar as well! I would definitely stay here again.

I only stay here now. Love the place and people.

Clean the door rooms. The owner was working on trimming trees in the gardening areas around the property while we were there adorable.!!

This is a great hotel! Everyone was so nice and helpful, above and beyond. It was very comfortable, easy to park, and close to so many fun spots. We loved the vinyl and the record players in the room! Will come again if ever in Eau Claire.

Oxbow was great! We enjoyed live music and great drinks and apps at the Lakely. Riley and Jason were fun to talk to and gave us great drinks! Major bonus is that Oxbow let's you use bikes, helmets, locks for free. We toured around Eau Claire for a couple hours Saturday morning. Great fun!!! Their fun gimmick is you can listen to records in the room. We enjoyed some throw back Led Zepplin as we packed up. Ended our visit w a trip to Lazy Monk. Great visit all around.

The room was clean. The property was well maintained and the location was within walking distance to local attractions and restaurants.

Really cute boutique hotel. Staff was amazing for our anniversary. They provided wine, flowers and chocolate. Didn’t have a chance to use the outdoor equipment, but I could seen how it would be a great guest amenity.

Great stay at this out of the ordinary chill vibed hotel. Super comfy bed, roomy shower, Close to everything. Booked right away for the coming year at the end of our stay.
