Location was excellent! Noise at night

Breakfast was excellent. It was in a different hotel down the street, but that did not really matter. The only problem with the trip was more of a Booking.com problem then a Coco problem. Booking advertised a bigger room of 290 square feet. That is the room i booked and paid for. But then the hotel allocated a smaller room (rm 5) to me. I did not know it was a smaller room, and not the room I had booked on Booking, until the Coco offered me "upgrades" if I bid in an "auction" of the very room that I thought I had booked. I tried, and failed to win the auction. Even though i offered the maximum they allowed me, my "bid" was rejected. That was a major disappointment, and dissillusion, even before I arrived. So that was the only unsettling part of my Coco experience. Booking advertised the 290 square foot room; I booked that room. I was given a smaller room, and then offered to bid on having the room I thought I had booked. Then my bid was rejected!! I am not sure that the Coco wants its clients to have that negative experience even before they arrive. And Booking.com is engaging in false advertising if they offer a larger room at a higher price, but then the hotel assigns a smaller room at that high price. Booking and the Coco should revisit this situation and make sure it does not happen for future clients.

Excellent property with nicely appointed rooms, great location, and friendly staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and home to come back soon!

Only planned to stay one day but all ferrys were canceled so we went back for another night. It was a great pleasure. More than cozy and comfortable. I would return

Wonderfully presented and delicious breakfast. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Alex went out of his way to help make the visit enjoyable.

A great stay in the middle of everything. The bar downstairs is fantastic. The breakfast offerings are exceptional. But if you are staying in the main house, ask not to have your room right above the kitchen. Very noisy in the afternoon. We were fortunate enough to get the one free visitor parking space, but this would have been very inconvenient if we hadn't been able to.

This is a real disadvantage and needs to be considered before considering this hotel.

Breakfast was very nice with multiple options. Room was clean and we were surprised that although we were only staying 2 nights that the bed was made and new towels provided after the 1st night…wasn’t really expecting that.

Exquisite location. Quiet. Lovely breakfast.

The property was great! We did have heavy bags and the front desk staff person kindly took them upstairs for us. An elevator would have been nice.

Can not beat the location.

Location was exceptional. Front gardens were spectacular. Restaurant L’Etouile is on main floor. Awesome bar! Unfortunately, our room, No. 4 on 2nd floor sits above the restaurant. Music blared until 1:50 am. Alex, the manager of Coco was terrific regarding my middle of midnight text. I suggest their sister hotel, The Sydney, as it is newly built and doesn’t have all the issues that an antique building has, such as heating and cooling noise. Also, their Continental breakfast was sub-par. Btw) I was disappointed for $750.00 a night, they could have a few higher end accessories, such as a functional iron, and a $20.00 blow dryer. The location is def what you pay for in this hotel…

Property was great and the breakfast was fantastic. The walls are ridiculously thin - we could hear everything from the neighbouring rooms at all hours of the night which made our stay not as pleasant as it could have been.
-
the perfect place to stay!
-
Perfect location close to lots of restaurants and shopping. Beautiful hotel with great decor and friendly staff. Nothing. It was perfect!
-
One issue was that we were directly above the restaurant so it was noisy til 10pm..... I have a 4 year old so that was challenging. However the hotel offered to move us immediately to one of their other properties however my daughter refused to move as she said it was " the most beautiful room she had even been in and she couldn't leave her pink fishes (the gorgeous wallpaper)" (fierce words for someone who's mom designs hotels for a living ) so we stayed and had a wonderful stay and would stay hear again. Alex, Ellen and the team are just so wonderful and helpful - they capture the spirit of the island and vacation in this magical little place.
-
This place depends greatly on the room you get. I was on first floor above restaurant (room 1) and it was really loud.
-
Great location Staff MIA when raised concerns. Extremely noisy with paper thin walls and doors and door to room bangs every time someone opens front door of building. Tiny bathroom barely can move in there. Air conditioning malfunctioning way too cold during day then would turn off often at night.

Great location, comfy room, lovely breakfast. Loved the water/coffee/tea bar. Bit pricey
