Location and the cleanliness

It took 20 minutes to check is as the hotel did not transfer a booking to my name as Engine requested. Furthermore, when shown proof of the request with confirmation numbers the front desk was resistant to make the change.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. After eating breakfast, I had some yogurt and grape jam. The yogurt tasted off, so I stopped eating it, and the grape jam was unusually watery, so I threw it away. Shortly after leaving the hotel for New York, I started vomiting in the car. I continued vomiting for about three hours in the restroom at Rockefeller Center. Security was so concerned that they wanted to call an ambulance, but I declined because I hoped the vomiting would stop. After about three hours, I finally started to feel better. My day was completely ruined. Instead of sightseeing in New York as planned, I had to return to the hotel around 1:30–2:00 PM because I was too sick to continue. When I reported what had happened to the front desk, I expected at least some concern or sympathy. Instead, they immediately insisted there was nothing wrong with their food and repeatedly implied that the problem was my fault. Their attitude was defensive, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Whether or not the hotel believes the breakfast caused my illness, the way they handled the situation was unacceptable. I will never stay at this hotel again.
