Exceptional

Close to the freeway Description said there was a fireplace and there was not. The tub/ jacuzzi,, one of the reasons I selected the room, did not have working jets.

Photos provided were modern, clean, & enticing, however the outside property was not documented, & I see why. It was old & dirty, sketchy people "living" in the units, trash piling out of the trash can near the only elevator that was small, hot, & loud...almost sounding like it was going to break. People were blocking the walkway to our room by sitting on patio furniture, while drinking beer (which their 24 pack was sitting right there with them). They also asked our kids (under 10), for $5 to be able to pass, which was absolutely inappropriate & made our kids feel unsafe. There really needs to be security walking the property, as you had people who were looking illegal substances or had already taken illegal substances, walking/arguing in the parking lot. The door frame was cracked & chunks were missing, the floors were dirty & scratched up, the tub/toilet leaked, the toilet paper holder was rusty & loose. We didn't have breakfast as the front desk clerk already said they were out of a lot of their food. I would most certainly NOT recommend this place. I wanted to ask for a refund & juat eat tge 1 night charge, but look for somewhere else for the rest of our trip, however we ended up staying because we literally were gone all day long & only came back to sleep.

Was nice large room for 5 people 2 elderly to adults 1 child plenty room

The staff was amazing. There was a gentleman at night who was wonderful. However when we got to our room there were many earwigs in the pillows and under the sheets, as well as on the floor. It was late, so I just cleared all I could see and put damp towels away from the beds to attract them. It was too late at night for a room Change, i needed to get the kids to bed. The morning staff was super friendly and helpful! The waffles were amazing and my kids loved all the options.

Disappointing

Nothing! the room was dirty, I hate cut my stay short because roaches was everywhere crawling on us in our sleep.

The common areas were filthy. There's a handful of tenants who obviously live here and set up outside of their rooms like it's their personal porch, pets and all, who do not yield for passing visitors. The toilet was broken. Front desk automatically hangs up after first ring. The 2 stars are for the clean bed and clean towels.

The room floor was dirty like if they didn’t clean it had like tissue paper in between the two beds

However, the hotel staff was very friendly. I only give them credit for their friendly service.

One of the best places currently i’ve stayed at hands down top choice if and when i look for somewhere to stay in El Cajon!!

Nothing, I paid it but when I saw the room I decided not to stay there. They charged over 500 for a service I did not receive. I rented a room with a sofa, but I was given a dirty room without a sofa. I requested to cancel my reservation, but they refused, and I was charged over $500 for a service I did not receive.

One of the lowest hotels I've ever stayed at. Would not recommend.
