This hotel very poor customer service so we make reservations we get there we were told that there were five beds still available we get there and they’re full no room rooms so they marked us as a no-show and we were unable to get our money back so be careful people. These people will rob you of your money be very careful.

I’ve stayed here several times already and owners are really nice husband and wife very friendly, outgoing and most of all the places clean. It’s a lot better than most of them in El Cajon especially for the price. Thank you guys.

The place was filthy. The people hanging around there were scary. No blow dryer. No coffee maker. Dirty shower.

Staff is great and willing to help out with issues that may arise. Also very proactive for helping with reservations.

Unfortunately there were various types of bugs on the bed. I checked the sheets and bed before laying in it but was woken up by a spider and then noted more spiders, bugs and flies. Sadly it was non refundable, however I thought cleanliness would be the bare minimum. Staff did offer to spray the room down but I checked out of my two night stay at midnight of the first night.

Same issues where cash deposit disclosures are not given prior to booking. Wish I knew on the Expedia websites before booking.

They had my reservation completely wrong. They did not have the room available that I had reserved. I cleaned the floor in my room and the towel was black. I cleaned the chair and table and the rag was black. People can live there by the week which creates some less than ideal people hanging around.

The staff were very courteous and helpfull.

I stayed at this hotel for one night, and it was a great experience. The location was excellent, making everything convenient. The property was spotless, and the staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming. I had no issues whatsoever and really enjoyed my stay

I reserved for 3 days. I called to let them know about a late or next-day check-in, which I was willing to pay for. I came the next day, notified them again, and was transferred to multiple people. When I arrived to check in, they did not have the room ready because someone was already sleeping in it, despite all my notifications and even paying for it, which was not refunded even with insurance. So I slept in my car for 2 days because of the irresponsibility of the staff or owner and whoever was in charge. I even talked to them and had chats online, so I can prove it. I am even considering suing. Even though I was the customer who did not mind paying for days I could not check in and had reserved, I was still nice because it's just the right thing to do. However, they were very rude. I could not rate the whole experience 1 star because I never got to stay and slept in my car, which I had to use public restrooms like the gas station, but I had to buy something. Overall, 0 stars, unaccommodating, no refund, rude staff, irresponsible, no accountability. The establishment did not even call to apologize. DO NOT BOOK if you had a good experience. I am happy for you since you enjoyed your stay. With all the notifications and reminders, I still slept in my car with no refund or call back, but got a rude "No, you did not reserve. Stop calling" and was hung up on, even though I was nice. I was expecting more, but my attorney friends are getting ready to file a civil complaint.

It was clean and staff was respectful

Dirty rooms, outdated facilities, not enough parking spaces, poor management, and the surrounding area is terrible. The funny thing is that their prices are comparable to major hotels, but the experience is nowhere near the same. Definitely not a pleasant stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Area and location did not seem safe.
