Motel 6 El Cajon, CA - San Diego

The microwave didn’t work the first day. Fridge didn’t work properly… Toilets flushed from time to time. We spotted a cockroach in the bathroom… Nights were the worst time because the ac was working so loud and you could hear everything from next door rooms… Pool was dirty. But the stuff was polite. Wouldn’t recommend at all!! I usually don’t write this kind of comments but my vacation was ruined

This Place is a tragedy. Should be charging $30-$50 max. Our room as disgusting smelling of cigarette smoke, the mattress was so old had no support and metal coils were stabbing you. Furniture was old and broken, curtains had holes. Room was overall a dive motel not almost 7 stars on Booking. We ended up asking for another room which was slightly better, woke up with back and hip problems ruined my 4th of July I would like a refund and damages for tje trauma and injuries I suffered. Do not recommend and Booking should drop this to a 1 or 2 out of 10.

For the price it was ok. The room was decent, service was ok, plenty of parking. Don't need towels because you might literally have to get them yourself, room keys stopped working out of the blue- annoying. The Motel 6 my husband and I experienced this time is not the same as we once experienced.

You get what you’re paying for.

Air conditioner was perfect. Parking was safe I parked in front of my room.

Good place clean but bit pricey

I booked joint rooms and they gave me only one room. But charged me for both. They also had no towels in the room and the non smoking room smelled like cigarettes.

Floor in the room was in need of a good mopping.

Main door had a huge gap that you could see through. The bathroom wall had a noticeable splotch of dried blood on it. The mattress was super springing and way too soft. There were people playing loud music from three to four in the morning. It appeared that they stopped playing their music when they felt like it.

Had a reservation but they overbooked but the staff was helpful and made it ok. Property was clean overall other than some homeless people hanging around but that was probably more due to the area. Parking lot was well lit and had security walking around at night. Room was old but overall clean. Not bad for a 2 day stay.

Will ever again. Pictures didn't do service either.

None Place need some cleaning and renovation, plus some amenities for customers.

Location The place has roaches and the bed sheets had blonde hair on them. I didn't stay. The room wasn't ready at 3pm. I came back a few hours later & was given a make-shift room for the disabled. The room doesn't have a counter or storage in the bathroom. The tub/shower setup was good for a person with disabilities. However, since the sink wasn't enclosed with a cabinet & extended counter, there was no place to put clean clothes in the bathroom so one could change. Who puts clean clothes on the floor? I was refunded for my Sat & Sunday. The clerk only offered 30% refund for my Friday night stay.I was told I cancelled. Who would stay with roaches. I was told only the manager could give me my 100% refund. I slept in my car on Friday. A mgr wasn't available. I called on the Sat like I was told. After receiving the runaround, a front desk clerk tells me mgrs only work M-F from 10am-4pm. I have yet to receive my Friday night refund. I was totally disappointed in the experience and I won't be back. It would be nice to receive my Friday night refund - 100% in full. The shocking part is the front desk personnel was not surprised when I mentioned the roaches. The response was we'll call Terminix.

At first I was little concerned but if you need a room just to sleep and last minute planning its ok
