Hampton Inn & Suites El Cajon San Diego

Didn't have to pay for parking because it was a shared lot with an In n Out. Which has it's pros and cons

The hotel is very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Air-conditioning rocked Breakfast was adequate. The only major problem, and the staff knows it, is the parking. The In-N-Out Burger makes parking in the evenings on Fridays and Saturdays very difficult. They do have a small problem with pan handlers in the parking lot also but overall it’s a very nice day.

$400 a night with noisy street and in and out next door and view of cell phone tower

Call little spot to stay in had an issue with the air conditioner maintenance guy fixed it in 10 minutes. I’d stay here again staff for friendly and attentive. My family and I enjoyed the stay.

Room was ok, but not as new looking or as clean as in the hotel pictures. Breakfast had limited options and was not impressed. Recommend a different Hampton Inn location if possible.

There’s a mini concession downstairs by the front counter if you need snacks or drinks. Breakfast is pretty good here. It’s very quiet and clean at this location.

Very centrally located and very good amenities.

The room was clean and inviting. The we staff was helpful and accomodating with the rooms. Breeakfast was good with variius choices. The air conditioning was excellent!

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast included both hot and cold items. Room was neat and clean.

The food was good, warm food was warm and cold food was cold. The Room was comfortable and clean. The pool was not heated and thus it was ice cube cold. Kids - liked the pool. Adults - we need to be pampered. The cushions that you sit on in the dining room need a good cleaning, as well as under the tables.

The carpet and floors were stained and the rooms smelled like stale cigarettes with perfume. You had to request towels and room cleaning or else they would not check the rooms smelled

Property was convenient, however, the In and Out next door made parking very difficult!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

There was a hole in the ceiling and duct tape on the bathroom mirror. I probably wouldn’t have written a bad review for those two things, but the shower was not hot… the water was warm m/cool at best. When I told the front desk attendant she giggled and said she would tell maintenance. I would not stay there again.
