Relax Inn And Suites

This hotel is filthy dirty, no running water in the shower..The walls are filthy dirty..The microwave was rusty inside. The bed sheets were stained..The pool was empty and filthy. I left the very next day after checking in extremely late the night before..I would never recommend anyone stay here.I was horrific to stay there.I am fighting to get a refund. There were bugs crawling on the walls and floors.I could mot wait for the sun to come up so I could leave.

The staff were not that good. They were not honest about the rooms being infested with roaches and rooms that are missing refrigerator. TVs are not all working condition. Just infested with bugs dusty rooms old furniture room doesn’t even smell pleasant. A lot of rooms that they gave me was unpleasant, smell, and just roaches running around the floor and inside the bathroom area. It was just a nasty turbo experience. I would not recommend this hotel on Today renovate everything and have a pesticide control come there.

This is a homeless shelter and should not be listed on any booking site. I don’t know if it is legal to operate such a place! If you still stay, you will regret it and it will ruin your visit or vacation in the area. Smell of pee all over in room stairs and walkway. Dirties sheets and towels. A/C was from Middle Ages and obviously could not do the job. Shame on regulators for letting this place be open as it should be condemned because of filth. STAY AWAY!!!!

Extremely rude front desk worker. I didn’t get his name but he is a dark skinned fellow and was “working” in flip flop sandals. Says a lot about this disgusting hotel. Roaches everywhere.

The staff were amazing but the room was,terrible. Smoking smell very strong and suffocating. It even permeated to my clothes and towels. I couldn't bring my children to the room because of that. I ordered non smoking room and there was a sign of non smoking on the room. When I told the staff he said he can only spray a sent to cover it. This was a violation of my rent agreement and although I don't expect a clean hotel in El Cajon in general but this case was unbearable.

I am aware that the price was low compared to others around but one should not worry that you are going to have bugs crawling on you. We did not stay. The pool was empty and there is a broken down vehicle in the parking lot that looks like someone is living there making it feel a little unsafe. Staff was polite but this place should not be listed on Expedia. I’m truly disappointed.

This was the worst day I’ve ever stayed in. We first walked in the walls were all black and dirty. Toilet seat was broken, no bath towel towels. There was a hole on the roof of the restroom holes in all the walls. We filled them with toilet paper because we didn’t know if someone was looking at us the day after we stayed our first day we started getting roaches all over it was disgusting. I complained, but they didn’t care.

The property was poorly maintained inside and out. After checking in my husband and I couldn't use the handicapped space in front of our room because it was blocked by someone's belongings( clothing, appliances, boxes,etc.. Getting into the room,shutting the door, it was so dirty along with the walls and the bathroom as well with roaches running along the bathtub( which surprisingly was the cleanest area in the room), so we immediately went to Walmart to buy Raid . When we got back from buying the Raid and entered the room, more roaches were on the wall near the refrigerator and microwave which we sprayed. There was a dog in the room across from us that barked all through the night and we had to throw away our food we bought because in the morning there was roaches INSIDE the refrigerator. We arrived late and were there for a one day visit near this place and our money was not refundable. I honestly couldn't and wouldn't recommend this location to anyone.

Not the most updated motel in the area, outdated, a roach motel. Definitely wouldnt stay there again.

Price and availability was the what I needed. Good water pressure, ac did the job, cold room.

The motel is filthy and dirty, and there are very bad odors..

It was easily accessible with very friendly and helpful front desk clerk. The property needs a major overhaul from top to bottom.

The property shows swimming pool when I arrive there They told me that there was no pool. Also everything is outdated. The bedsheets had a lot of holes like cigarette burns and The bathroom was dirty no shampoo or soap to shower with and the towels were disgusting. Also the refrigerator was dirty. I was so disappointed, also the parking had a unpleasant smell

A homeless motel. STAY AWAY!

First the good: it is inexpensive, and the staff are extremely friendly. That's all. We had a reservation for 3 nights amd just left after the first one. The rooms are in terrible condition, and do not at all look like the pictures online. The sheets were covered in someone's hair. The furniture was all broken or missing parts. There's a new kitchenette with stove, but no pans. The shower head sprayed more water out the back than the actual spout so we couldn't bathe, which was the last straw. Save yourself the trouble and just stay anywhere else.
