Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Columbia East - Elkridge by IHG

Should have known by the driveway leading to it … pot holes. Tv went out for more than 5 hours. Big bugs in the elevator. Stayed 5 days , room was made up 1 time the entire stay. Never again.hotel from hell. Manger should be fired. I told her about our stay and she had an attitude like I’ve never seen. We won’t be booking through you or with them again.

Pool and fire alarm system were not open or working.

Room was ok…AC was not working well. Breakfast was not so great. Parking was great. Cable was not working. Pool was out of service.

The manager was very attentive as a trainee was checking me in. She made sure that everything was right and also gave me very late check out so that I could enjoy all the amenities.

Our stay was pleasant and easy. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Staff was helpful. A primary reasons we booked was because of the pool which was closed.

Our room was roomy and relaxing. We loved the bench outside the lobby to enjoy the outdoors and the delicious breakfasts. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Also enjoyed the nearby shopping center and gas station- very convenient. Location was excellent. Only drawback was no hot water- probably due to large # of lacrosse players staying there and their frequent showers.

The hotel look better than some of the other places that I have stayed at over the past two years. Otherwise I really enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was good. The extremely soft bed. The mattress had ran its course. Time for new ones. That’s the only thing I didn’t like. There was a flood during my stay, didn’t bother me the staff jumped into action.

A great place to stay all around. Very clean

No water was provided to guests. (Bottled water) Also, nothing was offered for compensation.

Great area

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were as accommodating as possible. There was a local soccer tournament and that meant kids screaming and running in the hallways until 3am (yes- this was addressed with management and we were told we could not move rooms due to being sold out. Nothing was offered to fix the problem outside of an apology) and also adults with music playing beer pong in the lobby and what I believe was a conference room. It was very unprofessional.

The hotel is in a great area. I would have gave a 5 star but the pool was pretty gross. My stay was great. The breakfast was good. I would recommend

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good The TV was outdated and not a smart TV. The pool didn't open until 10am which was not convenient when you have to check out at 11am

The laundry room had only one functioning machine (out of 2) which made doing laundry on a tournament weekend difficult. If you’re traveling there and need the machine just know it only takes cash/quarters. Overall, it was a good place to stay.

Breakfast was great The pool area was so dirty unsanitary Water looked very dirty Roach was also present in pool area No cleanup was done there in a while
