Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Columbia East - Elkridge by IHG

Everything was ok. The remodeling wasn't in the way. I haven't been to a hotel where it was peaceful.

The only thing I will say the sink water pressure is weak! Otherwise will stay again.

Clean, really comfortable room including the bed and shower facilities. Freindly staff

Checking in time was pushed back and difficult to get answers.

Very happy with the stay! Will be back.

There is a nice coffee machine in the lobby and its next to a great cafe called cafe ez. Dirty, toenails in the bathroom, bed had a giant hole in the middle of it, hallways closed with plastic sheets for “construction”

Clean but a dated hotel. Some USB chargers were broken, no water pressure in the sink but the shower was great. Staff was very nice!

Terrible experience: fire sprinklers not working, only one emergency staircase open due to construction, no ice machine, horrible tv reception

Lock mechanism stopped working on hotel room door and we were told by front desk staff that we had to wait for their “fix it” guy to come. Sitting in the lobby for over 2 hours and still no fix it guy or master key to get us in to the room to collect our belongings.

the swimming pool and the sprinklers were not working or you would have had 5's all around. The sprinkler is an amazing lack and I'm surprised you were allowed to operate without this meaningful security level! There were a number of cigarette butts outside but otherwise the property was in apple pie order. The staff was great, breakfast great, parking great. Fix the sprinklers and pool!

To the hotel's credit, they had partnered with a local gym so guests could still work out, but there was no alternative for the pool. That was especially disappointing because we had booked multiple rooms during a large lacrosse tournament held in record-high temperatures. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was so the teenagers in our group could cool off and relax in the pool after spending long, exhausting days competing outdoors. The staff was courteous and did their best under the circumstances, but we wish we had been notified of these closures before our arrival so we could have made an informed decision about our accommodations. The location is excellent for local sporting events, and we hope the hotel uses this opportunity to fully repair and refresh the property. With some investment in maintenance and amenities, it has the potential to once again be a great place for families and teams traveling to the area.

Clean and inviting lobby, good location Our bathroom door didn’t close, the shower head was hanging off the wall, ac unit very loud and not consistent in cooling.

It was clean and right off the highway There was a good 10 minute week to check in. I went to check in and my room still was not available because it hadn’t been cleaned. So then it was another 30 minutes.

The hotel was spotless. It looked and smelled incredibly clean. My room size was ample. Much bigger than other rooms I’ve stayed in at other hotels. Parking was easy. Staff was nice. Check in was tedious. Maybe they were under staffed but this poor woman seemed to be working very hard to obtain info from housekeeping as to whether rooms were clean / ready. I felt bad for her. The staff was only overwhelmed because they had so many folks checking in and the information as to whether rooms were clean and ready or not was not making it back to the front desk fast enough. But, throughout it all, the staff remained pleasant and friendly and they handled it very well. Also I feel the price per night was gouged. Very high. $400+. But, I didn’t really have complaints about my room or my stay so it is what it is.

Fan in bathroom was broke. Food on the floors. Hair all in the bed, pull out sofa was gross.

I will be choosing a different hotel in the future😞

Wifi did not work in my room. No curtains, just blinds too. Room smell a bit of smoke. Very safe location, just not the nicest stay.
