Bristlecone Motel

Returned 55 mins later to see other guests checked in and in the process. Questioned desk. Stated that housekeeping had finished early. Housekeeping was still actively working. Upon opening door to my room, it stuck on a large hump in the floor. Bathroim faucet had not been cleaned of soap stains from previous guest. Found cherry with stem under 1 bed, it had been there for some time. Various bits of gravel in carpeting. No return for this traveller

There was an awful lot of hair Some short and curly Some long and dirty blonde. Mold on the bathroom tile, carpet dirty, sheets appeared cleaned! Sprinklers were on in the morning spraying the sidewalk between the hotel door and the car. Then shifted and actually spraying the hotel door and the trunk of the car where we were loading, what fun! The continental breakfast consisted of a bunch of prepackaged junk food and luckily coffee. They didn't open till 7:00 and a lot of people want to be moving before that. The girl who opened the office didn't seem to give a rat's a** about her customers, she was young and it was just a job to be tolerated. Pretty sad place, owners obviously don't give it hoot about it just show me the cash baby, looking forward to the day they can burn it and collect the insurance.

Excellent staff as far as check in and getting access. Bedding and restroom needed further attention at least in the room I had.

Room dirty. Breakfast a joke. The most you could get was coffee. Staff knew nothing & was not helpful at all

They were pet friendly and there was a place I could park my boat.

The room was spacious and clean, just the AC unit sounded like a train coming through, even though it was warm, I did not want to be bothering other rooms with the noise. The worst was being placed on the roadside corner room. It sounds like you are basically sleeping on the highway! Very sleepless and kind of scary night for me and my small pup. I likely won’t stay again and will definitely let traveling friends and family know to avoid.

The staff was great, and the location was too. The only downside is that the tub wasn't clean.

Strictly and sleep and go motel. Older place with clean bed. Price was fine.

We were on a motorcycle trip. I stopped in Ely for the night. The air conditioning was questionable at first but ultimately it was fine. The room was adequate for the price. I was told that the breakfast was coffee and snacks. We did not go to breakfast there. So I cannot comment on that.

The people that rated this hotel a 9 must have pretty low standards. Birds nest on the air conditioner by our heads as we opened the door. The reason why we chose this was 3 guys and a room with three beds. Tiny bathroom. The AC was difficult to figure out; kept shutting off and actually one of the heat registers started kicking on as well. Beds are old and need replacing. But it served its purpose -- a bed and a shower.

Nice location, reasonable price and had rooms for people traveling with pets.

It was the second time I stayed there. That must mean something, huh?

Really rough stay. Loud, ineffective AC. Bad WiFi. Gross bathroom. Garbage under the beds.
