Days Inn by Wyndham Encinitas Moonlight Beach

The staff was super friendly and nice but Expedia and the Days Inn did not make us aware that they are in the middle of renovations. We were surprised to find the office located in one of the bedrooms, a very make-shift breakfast and the like. However the room seemed to recently have been renovated and was good minus the fact that the AC struggled a bit to keep the room cool and housekeeping was late or delayed or non-existent most of the time. Other than this we had a good stay. The office staff being so kind made the renovation inconveniences easier to deal with.

Property is in the middle of reconstruction but room was nice. Pool is not working. Breakfast is minimal. Overall worth it for the location and price. 10 min walk to the beach and shops!

One of the worst rooms we ever stayed in. There was no refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot only one roll of toilet paper. when the door was shut, there was a space that you could put papers through and see through it not safe at all. The lock didn’t seem very safe either. When you sat or lay down on the bed, all you could hear was the springs underneath squeaking. There was no breakfast except for package, tiny blueberry muffins, and granola bars . Best of all they did not have any ice or ice machines. Had to go ask for help five times to get the TV to work properly. They should be shut down.

The property had a great location except maybe too close to freeway. However only 4 blocks from beach and a couple on nice parks nearby. Plenty of food choices close. The property was being refurbished and lacked amenities and charm. Showers excellent, room clean

Be careful when you book through Expedia!!! They have no idea what’s going on at the property! I drove all the way from Texas, expecting a relaxing stay in Encinitas California, just to find the place in absolute chaos!

False advertisement. No breakfast, no pool, no breakfast. Stairs falling apart, almost tripped. Air conditioner in blocked with tables inside room. Staff did what they could with their resources and helpful.

It's under construction right now. The room was ok but I woke up to the construction work being done in the room next door. The breakfast is just granola bars and instant oatmeal with coffee. The location is amazing and walking distance to the beach and great restaurants and shops.

The room was nice and clean and updated which was nice.

My home was being fumigated and needed a place to stay. Days Inn was less than 5 miles away. Across the street is Lazy Acres, a natural food market. Great salad bar!!! My mini vacation and it was very nice. All was good but did suggest to desk clerk that a "grab bar" near shower would prevent the risk of fall. They haven't completed renovating so maybe that's on their list. No microwave yet, but that wasn't needed by me.

No hair dryer, or coffee maker (website says there is) reconstruction makes noise and mess. Pounding started at 8:30 a.m. in adjacent room. Our room was never serviced. Some staff seem uninterested. No drinking cups in bathroom.

Great price. Clean room. Amazing location. Under construction but not noisy. It would be nice if bathroom door would lock and if nice muffins were offered until later in the morning not just first come first served and then very cheap ones.

Tre front desk staff, very friendly and helpful Breakfast was limited, coffee and oatmeal by 9 am

Unfortunately we stayed when they were renovating the hotel, there were no vending machines, ice machines, pools. We found an unmounted door in our room which they had to remove. The rooms TV was not hooked up to any cable and had no signal. At least it had a bed and a working bathroom

There was no breakfast we were told the pool was closed and not accessible. The whole property was under construction. The workers were making noise and yelling around the property at 5:30 AM. They were smoking on the property in amongst the rooms I had smoke coming into my room on the last night there there was also drug paraphernalia left lying around in the hallways of the property like the outdoor hallways. There is also a used condom in the parking lot, it was pretty gross actually and none of that was discussed at time of booking or even a time of check-in. We were just told there’s no breakfast and no pool I would like my money back.

Location. Staff was so friendly. We rooms felt clean and up to date. The construction wasn’t a known entity. Construction was noisy and the facility was a mess.

I prepaid for the hotel with a confirmation for two queen beds and then i went there at midnight they said the two queen bed rooms were over sold. I think they can provide a better experience than that

They are currently under going renovations. Wait awhile before going to this hotel. Also no WiFi because of renovations.
