Days Inn by Wyndham Englewood Dayton Airport

I liked the location I stayed on the second floor and people were smoking... there were no cups in my room and food crumbs in the corner... the sausage gravy and biscuits were cold, but I had a microwave..

Location was easy to find. Decent price for a night. Expectations met due to $$ paid Just a little run down but everything worked fine. No issues. Just could have a little more modern maintenance but was fine for a night. Coffee maker was super hot. Burned my thumb really bad but that’s about it.

No one was at the front desk when we arrived. Had to call multiple phone numbers for the manager to get someone to come check us in. We were charged for the security deposit and had to call to get it refunded which is tough since they don’t always answer the phone. Hotel room is dated but was very clean. I would not stay here again.

Other than the paint peeling from the ceiling, it was quiet, I slept very good and the breakfast was quite good.

There was so much space around our door I had to shove a blanket in around it. There was a wet floor sign hanging on the railing in both elevators continually, very tacky. The breakfast was barely ok. The staff although we're very helpful and kind.

The mattress was the worst it’s as if they got it out of the garbage, the furniture was all scratched and paint coming off. The chairs stained and broken. Rug was dingy. The staff was friendly

The room is very clean and set up nice all the staff that I met with were very helpful on anything I needed. Our breakfast was good and check out was simple and easy

Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast and coffee was great. I received an email the day prior to our stay to do a pre check in. I did this; entered credit card info, uploaded copy of drivers license, license plate number etc. When we got there I was asked for all of this again. Clerk said it wasn’t there. She Scanned drivers license but I didn’t want to hand over my credit card. I am sure everyone in the lobby thought I was an old lady that didn’t do it correctly. Another employee came over clicked a few keys and there was all the info I entered. We got our room key and went to our room with one double bed!?! Went back downstairs she told us that is what we reserved I pulled it up on phone and showed her what my confirmation said…. New key card issued. Hallway carpets were stretched and rumpled..

I expressed all of these things to the lady at the desk, and she did not care. I explained that we would be visiting this area frequently, but if this is the kind of service they offer we will choose a different hotel and that maybe I should contact corporate . She said a manager would be calling me. I have yet to hear from anybody.

For the price it needs to be updated immediately. First room was not up to the standards for the price should have been put out of order. Old mattress and box springs . Bed protectors were completely old and tore up. Box spring and wall had throw up on one both beds took video told front desk. Got moved this room was cleaned better but still outdated went to take a shower before I know it I was standing in water. Drain was not properly draining correctly. I paid to much for 2 nights for my feet to take a bath a horrible breakfast and to have to be on the road for hours to come to a days inn have this experience and never one time get compensated for the inconvenience. This is very unacceptable there should be no excuse for this hotel to be ran like this. I worked in the hotel industry 10 + and never experienced or seen this kind of service from a well known hotel. This is expected at motels ran by the hour

Old and dingy, long overdue for updates. Finishes on chair and bathtub peeling off.

Avoid this hotel if possible. We arrived around 11:30pm and the yeah in the lobby was over flowing. There was a weird smell

The property was dirty, the rooms were not clean. You had to ask for a clean washcloth every day and we were not given any. We will never stay here again

Bathroom had mold. 8 rooms on our floor were trashed so bad they had signs saying under renovation. We had to go find someone to put lamps in our room. We had to stay 3 days as Expedia would not refund. Very disappointed.

The carpet in the room was filthy. I had to keep socks on because I did not feel comfortable walking around in barefoot. The room could use a better cleaning.
