Comfort Inn Escondido San Diego North County

There was warm weather in the San Diego are and the hotel turned off the air conditioning. Made for a miserable 3 days.

Very clean and comfortable. The bath tub could be cleaner and the flooring in the elevator needs replacing. Great amenities and nice staff. Don't like the late check-in at 4 p.m.

The room was not dusted properly. There were spots on the sofa cushions. One sofa cushion was split open on one side. The bed was too high for elderly guests. Some Tiles were missing/broken on the floor of the front porch outside the lobby. It is tripping hazard. Breakfast has good selection. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall place was clean. Very nice Location of the hotel, close to fwy, lots of nice eateries and shopping centers around the hotel.

Great place and convenient to stay. Breakfast was included. My mom really enjoyed it. Overall for the price and the property in season, it wasnt bad. I stayed there years and years ago and compared to then looks like they have maintained the rooms but maintenance can do a bit of a better job when working on them, work looks a bit rushed. Overall great place to stay.

The rooms were cleaned regularly. The staff was super helpful and courteous. The hotel and pool were very clean. Breakfast for complimentary was really good. Would definitely recommend.

Standard King suite was nice and cozy. If you like soft beds, bed was perfect. If you're like my wife and don't, you're just crazy. Check-in was seamless, and breakfast buffet was nice (except for the scrambled (powdered) eggs). The area in general is pricey to stay in, but this place is good value for the money.

Room smelled of mildew. When asked staff to switch was told that they were booked and could not switch.And there was nothing they can do about. Breakfast was good. The staff who served/ cooked the breakfast was amazing.

Friendly staff, rooms are fairly worn down, but ok cleanliness. This place could definitely use a remodel. There was a slight musty smell throughout the hotel and the carpet in our room had rips and stains. The breakfast was sparse and didn't taste very good. The location was good for the San Diego Safari Park.

The hotel needs a remodel and good cleaning. Should look into changing the check in time from 4:00 pm to a little earlier and the exercise room should not be limited to certain hours of use.

Great stay

I booked this hotel last minute for holiday travel. The lobby and staff were warm and welcoming. Pool was clean and felt great to swim outside! Our room was spacious and the balcony with seating and viewing the palm trees was perfect to have morning coffee and breakfast. Probably the comfiest hotel bed I've ever slept in! They also include some free snacks in the room which was very nice and appreciated! We had an issue with the AC unit but the front desk sent maintenance up immediately, I was shocked! Breakfast was delicious, plenty of options including 2 meat choices and fresh fruit. Overall great experience, I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area!

Overall good experience

We went there for legoland on the 4th of July. It was definitely not cheap, but had a good review so we decided to stay here. It had a nice welcome basket with variety of snacks. Two things that we wished that were different are bigger bathroom and bigger space for continental breakfast. The bathroom was very small and the breakfast area was 2 hotel rooms that got renovated.
