Quality Inn Escondido San Diego North County

Some hotels don't have coffee in the room and I appreciated that and the fridge. The only negative is the area is a little sketchy but it's not the hotels fault.

Great little hotel. The staff was great and the rooms were clean. My elderly mother and I stayed and we felt safe. Lots of restaurants nearby and a movie theater. I wish the breakfast was better, only wallfles, juice, yogurt and coffee. I would’ve liked a hard boiled egg or something with protein so we skipped breakfast the second day.

Water damage in the room. Bed is very stiff and uncomfortable. Tiles outside are not sealed so when you walk it is very unsteady. If you are in the front, then you have no elevator access. Remote to the TV only works if you are 2-3 ft away from the TV. Their version of continental breakfast is questionable.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was not big, but it looked like it had been recently renovated. It was clean, and the king-size bed was comfortable. It's very nice that there's an elevator to the 2nd floor, which is where my room was located. The TV was not working in the room. Upon checking out, I informed them, so it was probably fixed. It would've been nice to have water in the room, even if it was for sale.

Dated property, needs an exterior remodel. Very slim breakfast. Nice front desk staff.

We've been staying here for the past 3 years and we've always have an excellent stay with them. The man on the front was super nice I think his name is Nigel? I forgot but he was super nice and friendly ,they have a Starbucks and a Chipotle next to the hotel thats a plus

This place was an absolute disaster. The room had a weird smell the second I walked in, and the swing bar lock on the door was completely broken off. I'm pretty sure the door had been kicked in at some point because you could clearly see where it had been patched up. There were makeup stains around the peephole, graffiti scratched into the door (shout-out to "Original Evil" btw

The bed was decently comfortable and the location is convenient for walking to restaurants and downtown. As for the bad: The breakfast consisted of a DIY waffle maker, Frosted Flakes, and yogurt. We were a bit disappointed there was no protein sources or fruits. There was an unpleasant smell around the hotel and in the room. Also, on a safety perspective, it didn’t make sense for the car pass to have our specific room number written on it when the front desk can store that information digitally. We won’t be staying here again.

Close to the freeway Zero

The staff was very nice and greeted us Everytime we came into the lobby. There wasn’t much of an area to potty our dog. The lighting in the area over the sinks could have been better. Also it would have been nice having an electrical outlet next to the second sink. Also the glass blocks in the bathroom that are in the wall between bedroom and bathroom when you are in there and the room is dark and you turn the light on in the bathroom it lights up the bedroom as well.

This was an okay experience for the price. The room was fine. The bathroom was a little dingy and the shower didn’t drain quickly. It is in a bit of a rundown area. You are instructed to not eat the breakfast there, but bring it to your room. It was a tiny breakfast corner, not many options. However, its a fine experience if you book for cheap.
